Hey, what's up, guys? I'm Ryan from Extreme Terrain and today I'm here with the Teraflex Gas Front Shocks for three to four inches of lift, fitting your 2007 to 2018 Wrangler JK. This is for the off-roading enthusiast that's looking for a high-performance shock that's not only gonna perform well off-road but it's gonna maintain nice ride quality and give that drivability on-road as well. These shocks are specifically designed for your Wrangler, giving you the maximum performance at a very affordable price tag. This is a great option over your stock shocks and most aftermarket shocks so if your shocks are just riding a little rough or they're worn out and leaking, I would consider checking these out. These feature a twin tube design and they're nitrogen filled so they're geared a little more towards that harsh trail abuse. They have a hardened steel piston rod that's triple chrome plated so it's gonna resist scratching and gouging, protecting that inner seal and these have an oversized outer tube that protects an inner tube inside so if you dent these on the trail it's not gonna affect functionality. Now with these shocks, they're gonna give you about 10 1/2 inches of travel and they have a travel limiter stop inside to keep you from overcompressing them and ruining the shock. These come with brand new heavy-duty rubber bushings and they're powder coated black so they're gonna be very corrosion resistant. These are very affordable and reasonably priced on the site as far as these aftermarket high-performance shocks go and at just over $60 a piece, I think this is a great option to go with. You're getting a high-quality shock that is very tough and durable and not only that but they're made right here in the USA. I personally have run these 9550s on my TJ for about five years and they perform flawlessly. As far as install goes, I am gonna give this one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter since you can install these in about 30 minutes using basic hand tools. Now with that being said, let's hop into the install. So if you're doing this installation on the ground, you may wanna jack it up and take your tire off. It's just gonna make it a little easier to access that shock, get all that hardware off. If you're doing it up in the air like we are, you'll wanna support your axle with a pole jack. We already have our Jeep up in the air, the tires already off, so we're gonna start with these.Put a little tension on it and then we can remove our factory hardware. So we're gonna start with this bottom bolt here. We're gonna use an 18-millimeter wrench and an 18-millimeter socket. So now that we have the bottom disconnected, the next thing we're gonna do is take the nut off of the top of this setup there. It's a little tight squeeze. I'm gonna use a 9/16. However, depending on whether you have stock or aftermarket shocks, the sizes may vary. After you get the nut off, you can go ahead and pull our shock body out and then down. And then, you'll need to grab the cup washer and little rubber bushing off the top.So at this point in time, we're ready to install our new shocks. You're gonna have two cup washers and we're gonna face the cup upwards and you're gonna place a rubber bushing. It's gonna have this tight raised edge. This is gonna go into our shock tower and then on the top, you're gonna face that raised edge downward and we'll get another cup washer that's gonna face downwards. So once you get the nut on top of there, we're gonna use a 14-millimeter wrench and we're gonna tighten that up. So next, you're gonna get these two holes to line up and then we're gonna reinstall that factory bolt. And we'll tighten it up with our 18-millimeters.So that's gonna wrap up my review and install.
