Specs. This finely engineered 2Low kit from Teraflex adds a new gear to your Jeep Wrangler JK (Rubicon models only) without needing to make external modifications or remove more than half of the T-case. The kit enables tight, bind-free cornering on hairpin trail turns, making exploration of complex terrain a lot more fun and pleasant. The new shift pattern it creates is 2H > 4H > N > 2L > 4L, and there is a decal to replace the stock decal with the new pattern.

Construction. This steel part comes with a standard 2 year limited manufacturer's warranty, as all TeraLow parts from Teraflex do. It eliminates the majority of front end steering bind that is caused by 4-wheel-drive. The rear half of the T-case must be removed temporarily for installation but the front half stays in the Wrangler. The stock low-range operations such as ESP disabling, electronic swaybar disconnect, and locker engage and disengagement will remain operational. The 4WD indicator on the dashboard lights up when 2Low is engaged.

Application. Fits 2007-2018 Rubicon model JK Wranglers.

        1 Top Rated Question

Can this be used instead of regearing the Jeep upon installing larger tires? Or is it just for part time use? Thanks

        • This would not be an apt substitute for regearing your Jeep.

            Greater Fuctionality

I love having the ability to switch between 4 wheel low and 2 wheel low. It makes the Jeep very maneuverable, and turns in the tightest radius very smoothly. Once done with a turn pop it back into 4WL on the fly. The installation was very in depth on this, but the instructions were great, and I managed to find a few videos on YouTube also! This was my first time breaking into a transfer case, and it wasn't that hard. It took some time getting used to the new shift pattern, and it's a little bit harder to shift that stock.

            Really cool option

I love the being able to run 2 low If I want, however the install on this little part is a bear. I spent about 5 hours with a friend getting everything disassembled and reassembled. With that said I would do it again
