I have a 2018 jk with 2.5 suspension lift and Fox shocks, if I add this body lift is there anything else I would need to add to keep all parts aligned?

        • This item will come with all parts needed to install and no other parts would be needed to work with the lift kit.

Essentially the swing gate would be raised 1.25” but the rear bumper would remain in the stock position, so with this misalignment would this body lift effect the operation of a single action tire carrier?

        • Yes, this item will cause an issue with a Single Action Tire Carrier.

Just installed this on a 2017 2DR Willy’s Edition. Saw that I may need to trim the shifter boot but the problem isn’t just the boot. Took the boot completely off and the shifter rod is hitting the center console and won’t go into 2, 4, 6 or R. Besides uninstalling and returning any suggestions?

I have a stock JKU I was wondering if these kit will allow me to run 33" tires?

        • The Teraflex 1.25 in. Body Lift will provide clearance for 33's but with stock wheels, you will rub on the sway bar at full steering lock.

I'm looking at adding a little extra height to my JKUS. I already have a Rough Country leveling kit. I don't really want to spend the big money yet on a long arm lift kit (I will just not in the budget) but I need to extra height for my jeep because I'm riding on 35" and off road on the weekends with my everyday driver. Good for a lower budget lift

The hardware that comes with the kit is top notch, trying to get the existing bolts out of the body mounts, down right suck. You really need to watch the alignment on the front two bolts, they are a pain to get lined back up the first try. Took four times of jacking and lowering to align them. Once it is done, looks great. First side took about 90 min, drivers side was do e in 30 min. Not really and afternoon, but can be done in a few hours

Added to my 2 inch Mopar lift

Pretty straight forwrad installation, the front two are quite a pain, I found with about 1/4 inch of thread showing above the spacer, you can move the mount and start the threads. it will look a lot better when spring comes and I take off the factory wheels and tires and install my 35's. i spent a lot of time trying to align front mount, only to realize i can move the factory one just enough to start the threads.

            Easy install

I had/have an AEV 2.5 inch suspension lift, but it was not enough. The additional 1.25 inches was perfect and it was as easy as they say. Watch the Teraflex video a couple times then go to it; you will be happy you did.

            It’s all good

The kit arrived on time. It went on as advertised without any issues. It appears sturdy and well built. There is no affect on the ride quality. I used a foot long piece of 2x4 in between the jack and underbody near the center most body mounts which lifted each side without the need for two jacks. So far so good.

            Great product, easy installation.

I used this to augment my 3.5" suspension lift to clear 38.5" tires. I installed it in my driveway in less than 2 hours, pretty basic design and easy to install. One suggestion I would have for installing would be to nail a 2x4 to a 4x4 to create a T to raise the body if you're using a floor jack like I did. The 2x4 should be about 16" long and sit under the door behind the pinch seam to distribute the force of lifting the body. Happy with the results of the product and the installation.

            Body Lift

Easy install. I used a floor jack plus a 4X4 and (5) 2X4's. On my 2 door, I made sure the length of the wood was a few inches shorter than the space between the two middle body mounts. Lift one side up and place all four spacers in one shot. A piece of cake. The Rough Country rear bumper brackets that permit an equal 1.25 inch lift with the bumper was actually just as easy. By no means am I a mechanic either. I usually struggle with anything that has to do with a wrench but these two mods were 1 1=2!

Great kit, not so easy install

I am very pleased with this body lift. It is exactly what I wanted, in addition to the 2.5 in coil lift I already had. I watched the Teraflex install video several times. I used a friend's garage who had a professional lift. Without that I am not sure I would have been able to get it done. The hardest part was the front two body mounts, lifting it high enough to slide the puck underneath the posts, as the install video says is the case. But it had to be high enough that alignment was an issue. After some pushing and pulling, was finally able to get them aligned appropriately. Also, one of the driver side body mount screws was not long enough to grab the threads on the capture nut. Not sure why, as it was the same length as all the others, but had to use another, longer body mount screw that my buddy had in his shop. Make sure you torque the bolts appropriately. The Teraflex install video says to re-torque after 1k miles, but I would suggest sooner, as I had to after only a few hundred miles and a weekend crawling trip.

            Overall, good product!

My brother and I installed it in my garage. We used a floor jack, bottle jack and blocks. I already had a 3.5” suspension lift and wanted to sit a little higher and also give myself the option of getting bigger tires later. Keep that in mind if you also have a suspension lift-you will need more jack options. Overall, not bad as far as install. The front 2 are definitely a pain though. Not much room to work with. Other than that, I love the way it turned out!

            Easy to install

2011 wrangler sport 6 speed manual. I left the vehicle on the ground and used a 2 x 4 to lift the body. Easy to install. No surprises. Do the front first then follow the U tube video. I'm glad this kit came with new bolts and washers. The hardest part was removing the original bolts. They were weathered in place with some corrosion and mud.

            Great Product!

I paired this 1.25” BL with Teraflex’s 2.5” suspension lift. Clears 315/70/17 BFG KO2 with ease. Solid product and didn’t need anything else other then what comes with the kit. I also installed Rough Country’s rear bumper gap brackets to bring the rear bumper up. But the gap is not that much of an eye sore. Overall great product for an extra 1” clearance.

TeraFlex inch and a quarter body lift

This was a great product worked perfectly but the directions are wrong. The directions say there are 10 body mounts on a two door JK when there are only eight. I would’ve gave it five stars if I didn’t spend a half an hour looking for to body mounts that aren’t there

Worth the Extra Cost Easy to Install

I chose this kit for ease of installation and was not disappointed.Easy to install, follow directions or watch available video. It installs easiest when you start at the front. My 2016 did not have the mount over the axle and some original bolts had a retaining washer that had to be dealt with when removing the old bolts. I used a floor jack and some wood to jack the body and only had to position the jack twice on each side to install. The body lift took around an hour to install. I did spend extra time modify the existing mounting bracket of the previously installed Teraflex sway bar disconnect kit. I did this by drilling a larger hole in the bracket to accommodate the new bolt provide for the front mount. Also used a bench grinder to grind down the washer on the same bolt to allow it to be installed. By doing this I was able to keep my front sway bar disconnect while gaining some extra tire clearance
