5 2016 Rubicon - Yoshi Installation Time: Afternoon

Great option for needed tire clearance

Super easy install. Took about an hour. I used the scissor jack on a stack of 2x6 to lift the body. Front is the hardest. You have to lift it to pretty high to a point where it might feel uncomfortable but it is all good. To get that front one in you can jack the body just behind the front wheel. I wasn't able to jack it near the front bolt like you see in the videos. Sway bar gets in the way. Also worth mentioning is the rear bolts are slightly larger than the rest. If you try one of the smaller bolts first and it just spins don't freak out. Grab another bolt. Definitely worth it. I also picked up a bumper relacator which fixed the gap in the back. Can't even tell the lift is a body lift.

5 2009 Wrangler - JohninCanada Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Good install

Great product. Easy install. Only complaint is there is no warning to say that a shifter extension is required when completed on Jeep with manual transmission. Rough Country has that covered for under 60 USD.

Good for a lower budget lift

The hardware that comes with the kit is top notch, trying to get the existing bolts out of the body mounts, down right suck. You really need to watch the alignment on the front two bolts, they are a pain to get lined back up the first try. Took four times of jacking and lowering to align them. Once it is done, looks great. First side took about 90 min, drivers side was do e in 30 min. Not really and afternoon, but can be done in a few hours

Added to my 2 inch Mopar lift

Pretty straight forwrad installation, the front two are quite a pain, I found with about 1/4 inch of thread showing above the spacer, you can move the mount and start the threads. it will look a lot better when spring comes and I take off the factory wheels and tires and install my 35's. i spent a lot of time trying to align front mount, only to realize i can move the factory one just enough to start the threads.

        5 2016 Wrangler - TomS

        Easy install

I had/have an AEV 2.5 inch suspension lift, but it was not enough. The additional 1.25 inches was perfect and it was as easy as they say. Watch the Teraflex video a couple times then go to it; you will be happy you did.

5 2016 Wrangler - Cuzz Installation Time: Afternoon

        It’s all good

The kit arrived on time. It went on as advertised without any issues. It appears sturdy and well built. There is no affect on the ride quality. I used a foot long piece of 2x4 in between the jack and underbody near the center most body mounts which lifted each side without the need for two jacks. So far so good.

5 2018 Wrangler - JosephP Installation Time: Afternoon

        Great product, easy installation.

I used this to augment my 3.5" suspension lift to clear 38.5" tires. I installed it in my driveway in less than 2 hours, pretty basic design and easy to install. One suggestion I would have for installing would be to nail a 2x4 to a 4x4 to create a T to raise the body if you're using a floor jack like I did. The 2x4 should be about 16" long and sit under the door behind the pinch seam to distribute the force of lifting the body. Happy with the results of the product and the installation.

5 2016 Wrangler - ScottN Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Body Lift

Easy install. I used a floor jack plus a 4X4 and (5) 2X4's. On my 2 door, I made sure the length of the wood was a few inches shorter than the space between the two middle body mounts. Lift one side up and place all four spacers in one shot. A piece of cake. The Rough Country rear bumper brackets that permit an equal 1.25 inch lift with the bumper was actually just as easy. By no means am I a mechanic either. I usually struggle with anything that has to do with a wrench but these two mods were 1 1=2!

        4 2015 Rubicon - BMV777 Installation Time: Afternoon

Great kit, not so easy install

I am very pleased with this body lift. It is exactly what I wanted, in addition to the 2.5 in coil lift I already had. I watched the Teraflex install video several times. I used a friend's garage who had a professional lift. Without that I am not sure I would have been able to get it done. The hardest part was the front two body mounts, lifting it high enough to slide the puck underneath the posts, as the install video says is the case. But it had to be high enough that alignment was an issue. After some pushing and pulling, was finally able to get them aligned appropriately. Also, one of the driver side body mount screws was not long enough to grab the threads on the capture nut. Not sure why, as it was the same length as all the others, but had to use another, longer body mount screw that my buddy had in his shop. Make sure you torque the bolts appropriately. The Teraflex install video says to re-torque after 1k miles, but I would suggest sooner, as I had to after only a few hundred miles and a weekend crawling trip.

5 2017 Wrangler - Ozziebill Installation Time: Afternoon

        Overall, good product!

My brother and I installed it in my garage. We used a floor jack, bottle jack and blocks. I already had a 3.5” suspension lift and wanted to sit a little higher and also give myself the option of getting bigger tires later. Keep that in mind if you also have a suspension lift-you will need more jack options. Overall, not bad as far as install. The front 2 are definitely a pain though. Not much room to work with. Other than that, I love the way it turned out!

Just installed this on a 2017 2DR Willy’s Edition. Saw that I may need to trim the shifter boot but the problem isn’t just the boot. Took the boot completely off and the shifter rod is hitting the center console and won’t go into 2, 4, 6 or R. Besides uninstalling and returning any suggestions?

I'm looking at adding a little extra height to my JKUS. I already have a Rough Country leveling kit. I don't really want to spend the big money yet on a long arm lift kit (I will just not in the budget) but I need to extra height for my jeep because I'm riding on 35" and off road on the weekends with my everyday driver.
