Hey, what's up, guys? I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain, and today, I'm here with the Steinjager double adjustable rear Panhard Bar for stock up to 6-inch lift in red, fitting your 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. It's going to be for those of you that are looking to ditch that stock rear track bar for a heavy-duty aftermarket fully adjustable option. It's for those of you that are looking to ditch that stock rear track bar for a heavy-duty fully adjustable aftermarket option. This is perfect for the stock Jeepers, and even those modified, especially for those of you that are lifted and are looking to center that axle underneath of the Jeep and increase ride quality. This thing is made out of heavy-duty steel tubing and has heavy-duty polyurethane ends. It is fully adjustable, fully greaseable, and is powder coated in a gloss red finish. This is going to add to the corrosion resistance and really make it stand out underneath of your Jeep. This is very easy to install, uses the stock locations, and even that hardware, so there's no drilling or modification required. This track bar is a very reasonably priced item on the website, especially when compared to other options of the same design. At just around $110, I think this is a great option to go with. You're getting a very heavy-duty item that is fully adjustable. Not only that, it is made right here in America and comes with a one-year warranty. Now, as far as installation goes, I am going to give this a two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter since we are dealing with suspension. However, you can get this installed in about two hours just using basic hand tools. Now, with that being said, let's hop into the install.Tools used for this install: 0.5-inch drive impact, socket extension, 21-millimeter socket, adjustable wrench, and a dead-blow hammer. So, before we get started installing this track bar, there's two ways you can do this. You can do it on the ground, which you really don't even have to take your wheels and tires off or do anything. You can switch that thing out right underneath of the Jeep. We have our Jeep up in the air, and we took our wheels and tires off. This is not necessary, but it's going to give us a little more room to work in there, and it's going to let you see, a little bit more, exactly what we're doing. So, first thing we're going to do, we have our Jeep up in the air, we're going to support our axle with pole jacks. So, at this point in time, we're just going to start removing hardware. So, you're going to have two mounting points. We're going to start here at the axle. You can start wherever you want. I'm going to use a 21-millimeter socket to take this bolt out. There's a flag nut on the back, so we don't need to use any tool. So, next, we're going to do the frame side. The frame side, we're going to use a 21-millimeter socket and a 21-millimeter wrench or just an adjustable. You want to be careful once you get this loose because the track bar might swing down. So, before we get this new track bar installed, I just want to take a moment to tell you a little bit about what this is made of, what it's going to do for your Jeep, and how it compares to your stock one. So, for those of you that have lifted Jeeps, you've already experienced some sort of axle shift. You pushed the axle further away from the frame with taller springs. That track bar is going to drag it to one side. Going to make you go down the road like a crab with your axle shifted. So, if you're looking for a very affordable option to upgrade to, this one by Steinjager is a great one to go with. So, with this new track bar, you're going to have heavy-duty polyurethane bushings on both ends. Your stock one is going to have rubber ones. This is going to stiffen up that suspension just a little bit. These are also greaseable, which is going to allow you to maintain those, and it's going to make them last a lot longer. So, with this track bar, you're getting heavy-duty steel tubing, making it a lot stronger than your stock one.Another nice feature of this track bar is it has a double turn buckle here. This turn buckle is made of chromoly, making it very strong and very handy. This is going to allow you to install that track bar, and you can adjust it while it's in there, shift that axle, center it up, and then lock it down in place with those nuts. Now, the stock one is black. It's just going to blend into all that suspension and components, and really fade away. With this one, you're getting a very nice red powder coating. This powder coating is going to provide corrosion resistance, and it's also going to add a little flash. So, you're really going to see that underneath of the Jeep, and it's going to stand out. So, with that being said, let's show you how this gets installed and what it looks like on the Jeep. So, at this point in time, we are ready to install this new track bar. So, we're going to mount this solid end up on the frame. This adjustable end is going to go in the axle. So, we're going to start with the frame side, reinstall that factory hardware. So, before we tighten any of this up, we're going to do the axle side. Same thing, we're going to reinstall that factory hardware. We're going to put that bolt back through with the flag nut, get that started, and then we can go and tighten everything up.So, at this point in time, you are ready to adjust it. If you are doing this up in the air like we are, you want to put your wheels and tires back on, set her on the ground, and then you're going to use an adjustable wrench to adjust this. That way, you can center that axle. Then, you just need to lock these nuts down in place. So, once you get this thing installed, you want to grease both of those ends, and then torque both of those bolts to factory specs. However, that's going to wrap up my review and install. For more videos like this, check us out at extremeterrain.com.
