Added Clearance and a good look

Swapped out the stock plastic flares for these Snyper's and they look great and are solid. The install wasn't to bad by themselves, I chose to install inner fenders at the same time so it took a big longer than normal. The added clearance and great look are definitely worth it. The light is recessed so you don't have to worry much abut it getting broke.

            Look sharp and well made!

Fenders look great and are very well made. I'm super happy with them, definitely a huge step up over stock. Really like the small running light on the side. Look sweet sitting over my 35 inch Nitto M/Ts.

            Great buy and clean look!

Debated between these fender flares vs. the Smittybilt XRC to match my bumpers. Chose these because of the solid material and small profile. Quality Westin product, with the only difficulty was trying to match the adhesive trimming. Heavier material required a two-person job.

            Nice looking, requires patience

I would suggest starting by watching the install video. Then unless you have the patience of a Saint, you're gonna want a Xanax before you get started. The front was pretty easy. The back looks like it should be, but looks are deceiving in this case. That welt that you just spent twenty minutes sticking on and cutting out? Go ahead and tear that off or it is nearly impossible to get the holes lined up. I gave up trying. Even without it I had to put the scissor jack under the fender to lift it up enough to line up the holes. If you've never installed riv-certs, make sure you get them in there as straight as possible. Then youre going to want to grind a flat spot off the edge of acouple of your flat washers so they will let your bolt line up. You'll see what I mean.. Have fun,and remember that nothing worth doing can be done without some cussing!

            Great quality and solid.

After reading the reviews I was a bit concerned on the install time and scratches on the fenders before I even started. Turns out the packaging was great. Everything was all bubble wrapped and positioned in the box so that nothing got scratched. For sure the nut-sert they send is questionable but it's free, so you get what you pay for. I took the advice of other reviews and got a quality nut-sert tool like on the extreme terrain installation video and the rears went on pretty easily. The install video was great to answer questions as I went along as the paper instructions were pretty slim. For sure spend the $30-50 on the nut-sert tool and you will also need to use a punch tool or screw driver to help align the holes on the fender to the body. The body panel is pretty thin and ends up bending as you pull out the plastic trim pieces so you'll need to straighten out the jeep panel or just use a metal screw driver or punch to help position to get the holes lined up. Those were the only pain points for our install.

            Nice Fenders

The appearance and sturdiness of these fenders is great. They are made of solid material and seem sturdy. The only downside is that they are spot welded rather than solid weld. They went on well and they look great. The side marker light is not a turn signal but only a marker for when your lights are on. I'm not a mechanic. It took me a few hours to install. I also installed inner fenders at the same time that required a little extra work.

            Looks great!

The fenders are very well built, really heavy duty. They are fairly easy to install. The rear fenders, however, have to have rev-certs installed through the factory holes that held the plastic clips. The small tool they give to install the revs is garbage. Spend a little more and get a nice kit that installs the revs much more easily.

            Surprisingly Better than thought!

After looking at the various options I wanted the tubular look without the higher prices of some of the other brands. The quality is much better than I expected and really the only complaint is the install of the tears. The riv-set tool is a joke so if you buy invest in a river tool to set the rears up for success. The Extreme Terrain video was a huge help.

            Montana Wrangler

These fender flares seem to be a good quality and crafted well. I have installed them but not driven my Wrangler since installing them. I'm waiting for delivery of a hardtop and want to get that installed first. The only problem I ran into was the rear flare mounting holes did not line up well for fastening to body. This change of fender flares makes the Wrangler look more aggressive than the stock fenders do.

Westin Snyper Flat Tube Fender Flares

Once you get these flares on, they definitely give the Jeep a more aggressive look. Getting there is a whole different story. The front fenders are a piece of cake. They went on without issue. The back on the other hand, were a pain in the butt. Lining the bolts up with the thread seemed to be an issue with the rear. Once the flares are on they are solid and look great!

            Damaged and horrible to install

Fenders look great once you get them on. They are packaged horribly and came damaged. Extreme terrain offered to replace them but I needed to send them back and wait for new ones. Decided to buy a paint pen and fix the chips and scratches. Took forever to put on. We had a team installing the 4 and it took almost 8 hours. Make sure to have someone with small hands because there is no other way to get some of the nuts on. I love the look though now that they are installed.

            Look great and hold up.

I had mine painted to match my Jeep. I've hit trees and put my jeep on its side and the fenders are still holding. Only thing I have against these is the grommets don't smash completely with the tool provided so I went and bought one the right tool.
