    Description

Design. Smittybilt's nylon door storage bags are made out of tough, black 600 denier ballistic nylon fabric. They include several different strap carrying handles, including both short and long straps. The interior features thick foam padding to protect the door and its paint from damage. These bags have a 1 year limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

Storage Benefits. This pair of bags provides a safe, convenient place to store two removed hard doors from a Jeep Wrangler. The bags fit doors from 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ models. They are intended for summer storage and similar functions. The bags also make it easier to move doors from place to place, sheltering them behind padding while providing convenient carrying straps at several different angles.

Application. In order to use these storage bags, it is first necessary to remove the hard doors that they are to contain. This should be done according to the Jeep's service manual, and usually involves detaching the wiring harness and door straps, then removing the retaining nuts with a #45 Torx wrench. The bag can then be placed on the door before or after it is lifted off the hinges. The bag should be zipped shut and stored in a safe, dry spot. It can be placed upright with the door's bottom edge on the floor, or laid down flat.
