        • This item should work with a bikini top as it just straps around the roll bars.

            cargo net

some of the straps were to short to wrap around the roll bars. Would have been easier if it were one piece in stead of 3.

            Decent

The quality overall seems well made but my biggest gripe is that unless you remove the factory padding on the roll bars the straps barely fit through the buckles and I mean barely. The top wasn't bad but I had to fight the sides for awhile to get some of the straps through the buckles.

            Not a Bad Product

This cargo net does what it says, restrain cargo. It looks nice, and it works well. However, there are A LOT of straps to buckle in, and the buckles get into the way of lowering or raising the soft top, which makes it frustrating.

            Good Cargo

Great strength but buckles get in way of soft top frame when raising or lowering.

            Good product.

Shipping was fast and customer service was courteous and helpful. The install went real well and the instructons were helpful, and the ET instructional video online also came in handy. This cargo net from Smittybilt looks great and keeps my dog safe from jumping out when windows are off or top is down. Two thumbs up!

Extreme Terrain Fit Tool Problem TJ Unlimited

DOES NOT FIT TJ UNLIMITED! I had a TJ Sport a few years ago and used the net to keep my dogs in the back. I recently purchased a TJ Unlimited and wanted the same type of set up. I checked the Extreme Terrain Website several times to make sure that there was a version of this product that fit my Unlimited and the fit tool ensured that it would fit a 2005 TJ Unlimited. The box arrived and it did not fit. Fits regular TJ Only. Really screwed up my weekend plans and when I contacted customer service, I got a "whoops, sorry, return and we'll give you your money back when we receive it. Order this other one that costs 2x as much." Not Happy.

            Fits good, looks good

The cargo net fits and looks awesome. It was easy to install. I had to get creative with a couple of the straps around the sound bar, but no big deal. It does the job of keeping by dogs safe and secure in the back while we are cruising. Best of all, my soft top fits over the top of it. So, I can just leave it on all the time. Great product!

            Cargo net

We had looked at different versions of this type of product but very glad we went with this one. It was simple a simple install and is made of quality material unlike others I have seen. It looks great as well.

            great product, great quality

it was relatively easy to install, and it holds on great, I have a HuskyLab and a German Sheppard, and its a peace of mind to have them in the back as I drive and not have to worry about anything happening (specially my mi Miami style driving lol), plus it gives they the best car ride experience that would make most dogs jealous. AND it still allows to put on the soft top w/o having to worry to remove or re-adjust the cargo restraints. the clips won the back is also great for easily storing items in the back w/o the need to put them through the doors, i.e. groceries, beach items, tools.

C-res2 I actually got this for my 92 yj

C-res2 I actually got this for my 92 yj Knowing it’s not specifically made for my year Jeep. With some adjusting it fits better than the off brand net I had before. Keeps the pups from falling out looks great and was responsibly priced. All in all great perches.

            Should be 4 1/2 stars

Ok. Technically this does not fit over the factory soundbar on my '01 tj. But the fix is obvious. You connect the strap from the sidepiece to the buckle from the corresponding top piece, and it works great. But the fact that they don't mention this simple fix i guess merits a half star deduction. However, the product is excellent. In my opinion it is worth the extra money over the basic c.res system. Unlike the basic c.res my Labrador is not going to be able to poke his head through this top to try and make people in parking lots pet him. Also i feel like this looks cooler with the nylon webbing and grommets. The install is harder and more time consuming though, and you do have to jury rig a little as stated earlier.

            Very Sturdy Great Price

I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, but I don't think I should knock it down to 4. It is very sturdy, but come on Smittybilt, where are the metal latches?! On the upside the plastic will not rust. Also one of the downsides is actually a good thing. Don't plan on putting this on in 10 minutes, it takes some working back and forth, but the reason this is good is that there is little to no excess material on the straps so they aren't flapping in the wind with the top is down. It can take 45-60 minutes to get up working the straps back and forth. Looks great, and the fact that the back unsnaps you can leave it up all the time. It fits under the soft top, however it may slow down putting up or taking down the soft top if your soft top is really snug to your roll bars, you may have to work the bars around the latches, but not unmanageable at all.

            Nice cargo net

Overall I really like this cargo net... got it mainly to keep my dog in the back of the jeep. And for that purpose, it is way overbuilt. The webbing is solid and the buckles are strong. Makes the jeep look awesome! I really like the way the back of it can be unclipped and opened up to access the back of the jeep and allow the dog to jump in. I put it (MPN# 561135) on a 2005 Wrangler TJ WITH factory sound boxes on the roll bar. It does fit but... I had to loosen the speaker boxes to feed the straps behind them. Also... I ended up pulling the soft top down in order to get to all the locations for the buckles. After I got it positioned where I liked it... I put the soft top back up and it all fits and looks great. Not sure how long the instruction say it should take to install... but after several attempts trying to get the fit right I spent several hours getting it on right. Now that I know how/where things are supposed to go... it would not take that long the second time... but your first install will probably take longer than you expect. There was a point where I was ready to return it thinking the straps were not long enough. Have some time set aside to get it installed right the first time... I don't think this is something you will put on and take off a lot... I'll just keep it on most/all of the time, too much work with all the straps and buckles. Make sure you get the right model for your jeep or you will have fit issues. Shipping was amazingly fast! Can't speak to how long it will last... seems like quality materials so overall I would recommend this net if you are looking for a restraint system that you can keep on with the hard or soft top.

            Good Price

Good price for a cargo net. Not as easy to install as I would have thought and it's a pain with the stock speakers. Stitching isn't strong and already looks like it's starting to rip.
