Rugged Ridge Performance 8,500 lb. Winch with Synthetic Rope (Universal; Some Adaptation May Be Required)

Capacity. Feel confident that you will not get trapped on the trails with this 8,500 lb winch from Rugged Ridge. This winch is powered by a 5.5 HP, series wound 12V motor. The 3-stage planetary gear box has a 172.8:1 ratio.

Winch & Line Specs. This winch comes prewound with a 100 foot, 11/32 inch diameter, 12 strand, braided synthetic rope. This rope is spun with Dyneema SK-75 fiber with a breaking force of 16,550 lbs. This rope is 1/7 the weight of the same diameter wire rope. Pulling at 4,000 lbs, this line draws at 13.1 feet per minute. The winch weighs in at 80.5 lbs and measures at 22 inches by 6.3 inches by 8.1 inches. The hardware on the winch's body are stainless steel to prevent rust. Rugged Ridge backs their winches with a 2 year limited warranty from manufacturer defects, and 1 year for the electronics.

Accessories. This winch includes a 12 foot, all weather cable remote and an aluminum hawse fairlead. The solenoid mounting brackets allow for multiple mounting configurations including tilting the solenoid.

Application. This winch is a universal application and is compatible with most off-road bumpers and over riders.
