I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain.com. This is my review and installation of the Rugged Ridge neoprene seat covers fitting all 2007 to 2017 JKs. This is a set of front seat covers, but these are also available for the rear of the Jeep. These are available in the black you see here as well as a few other colors. Because Jeep did change the interior of the Wrangler in 2011, there are a couple of different year ranges. So just make sure that you're careful and you pick the correct seat covers for your Jeep to get the best possible fit. Today, we're going to talk about the construction, the installation and of course the fit of these covers.Seat covers like this can do a couple of different things. If you have an older JK and your seats are beat up and worn out, covers like this will give your whole interior a new refreshed look at a far lower cost than recovering the seats themselves. If your seats are in really good condition and you want to keep them that way, you can go ahead and throw a set of these on there to protect your existing seats. Or, regardless of the condition of your seats, if you're just looking to give your interior more of a custom look, a set of seat covers is a great way to do that. These covers in particular from Rugged Ridge fit really well and they're fairly priced. As it says right in the name, these are neoprene seat covers. There's a lot of misinformation out there about neoprene that it is a waterproof material. It is not. It is a water resistant material. However, this is a wetsuit material, not a dry suit material, so this will become wet. If you leave the top off and your Jeep gets rained on, this will absorb some water. The nice thing about the neoprene material is that it is machine washable. If you do get a stain on these, you can pull them right off, throw them in the washer and get them cleaned up.Any material will eventually fade in the sun, especially reds and blacks, so I would recommend treating these with some sort of UV protectant spray before you install them in your Jeep if you're somebody who has the top off a lot or even if you run with the top on a lot. That'll definitely help to keep these bright and keep the color in them for a good long time. The nice thing about the way these covers are designed is, again, they are body style specific so they will fit in your specific year Jeep, which means they're going to fit tight, they're going to look factory and they're going to hold up really well.Getting seat covers like this installed is a little bit difficult. The inside of the cover does like to stick to the material on your seats, so you may have to fight them a little bit. But luckily, it's something you'll only have to do once or ever so often whenever you take the covers off to wash them. These do have built in straps and buckles to, again, make sure that they fit really tightly without any creases, so they look really good. But the fact that they do fit so tightly, again, makes them a little bit difficult to install. The first thing you're going to want to do is remove your headrest and slide the back section of the seat over the back. Then, you can slide the lower section that you actually sit on. Then, put the headrest back on the seat once all the straps and buckles are pulled tight. Now, you may have a couple of wrinkles in your seat covers when you first get them out of the box, but those will work out in no time at all. The whole installation should take you probably about an hour but it depends on how much you have to fight with these things to get them on. It may take you a little bit more. You won't need any tools to get this job done, just some patience. As I said before, I think these seat covers are fairly priced. You can certainly get some that are going to be less expensive, but in my opinion the build quality isn't there. They're not going to fit as tightly or look as nice when they're installed, and they're not going to hold up as well. A seat cover definitely takes some abuse, so you want something that's well built. I think these are priced really appropriately for what you get, and I think they're a high quality cover. So, whether you're looking to cover up a damaged seat in your JK, trying to protect a seat that's still in good condition, or you just want a custom interior look, a set of neoprene seat covers like this are going to look good and not break the bank. That's my review of the Rugged Ridge neoprene seat covers fitting all 2007 to 2017 JKs that you can find right here at ExtremeTerrain.com.

Key Features. Be prepared for whatever mother nature has in store, thanks to these Neoprene Front Seat Covers. They're water resistant, so you don't have to worry about rain, mud splashes, spilled drinks or even sitting down in wet clothes. The material is soft, while pleats in the middle make the covers comfortable. Thanks to superior durability, the covers will keep your seats looking pristine, while the black and tan color scheme adds a customized vibe to the interior of your rig. On top of that, the covers are custom tailored to the stock seats, meaning they won't bunch up or droop like some seat covers.
Construction. If you're not familiar with neoprene, know it's the same stuff used to make wet suits. It's durable and soft, plus locks moisture out. You can throw these seat covers in the washing machine on the delicate cycle, using cold water, to clean them up. Afterwards, just hang them up to dry. Rugged elastic straps with nylon hooks are attache to the covers, which work to secure everything to the seats.
Installation. An installation guide is available, but the process isn't complicated or difficult at all. Plan on taking at most an hour to get both covers on properly. You don't need any tools for the job, only your hands. Since the neoprene stretches some, getting the covers onto the seats and lined up the right way is actually pretty simple. The guide is handy for figuring out exactly where to attach the nylon hooks on the underside of the seat.
Application. These Neoprene Front Seat Covers are made specifically for 2011-2018 Jeep Wranglers JK models.
