Rugged Ridge offers this Hood Lift Shock, Service Unit as a replacement part for one of the gas shocks that makes up their gas-charged hood lift kit (Rugged Ridge 11252.51) for recent Wranglers. If one of the gas shocks breaks, you don't need to buy a whole new kit to get just one part. This Hood Lift Shock is a high quality replacement for this individual part of the gas-charged setup. Restore your lift quickly to give yourself easy access to your Jeep's engine.

      Construction. The Hood Lift Shock, Service Unit is manufactured out of steel by Rugged Ridge. A black finish prevents rust on the outer surfaces. This shock is a replacement part for a larger hood lift kit, Rugged Ridge 11252.51. This part is manufactured to high standards and represents an upgrade over the clumsy factory prop rod. This Rugged Ridge part comes with a standard 5 year limited warranty.
