Construction. These flares are made from UV treated thermoplastic, a flexible and durable material that resists fading. Replace your worn out flares and restore your Jeep's factory look. The installation hardware is included with this kit.

Application. These flares are designed to use your TJs factory mounting holes, but some sub models may require re-drilling some the holes. These flares fit 1997 - 2006 TJ Wranglers.

        5 1999 Wrangler - Laughlin

        Flare

I had my local body shop put them on. The old hardware was pretty rough but the new went on fine. With new front fenders the flares were the icing on the cake.

4 2004 Wrangler - CoryR Installation Time: Full Day

        What a difference!!

Let me start off by saying that this is an upgrade I've been wanting to do for quite some time. The faded gray OE flares on my 04 TJ looked awful and this makes my Wrangler look so much better! Installation was not fun at ALL. It is a tedious, time consuming task (this is strictly because of poor design by Jeep). The space is so tight on the front flares that you can't fit the smallest rachet between the flare and screw/bolt. Do yourself a favor and buy a 5/16 racheting wrench if you don't have one, it will save a ton of time. I installed the front two flares and two extensions myself. The rear flares are a different story. To access the back side of the screws you have to remove the wheel well retaining clips and slide it down. You might be able to do this without taking off the rear wheels but it's very difficult. With that being said I decided to pay my local mechanic to install the rear flares because I don't own a jack and to be honest, I was fed up with this project and just wanted it done. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars because there are some imperfections in a few of the flares (scuffs and a few small dings).

5 2005 Wrangler - MarkMech Installation Time: Afternoon

        PERFECT

I needed to keep this jeep stock and clean and I thought finding non-flared fenders would be difficult....NO WAY! These are easy to install and frankly look nicer than the originals. It took me a few hours to install only because I have some extras in the way that I had to tend to...otherwise, if you are dialed in, it's a quick project with great results.

        5 2000 Wrangler - Daniel P Installation Time: Afternoon

        Looks like a new Jeep

Best $128 I’ve ever spent. Perfect fit. It’s annoying to get the hardware off and on. I didn’t take off the tires. It wouldn’t have helped much.

        Nice Factory fender flares

This flares look really good and fit good also. The mounting hardware could use some help, but the flares themselves work great.

        97 Jeep

I recently acquired a 97 TJ. Made a list of upgrades and aesthetically the fender flares were on top. These are a great addition and make a huge difference. Fit is perfect.

do the flares fit for 1998 wrangler sahara

      • Yes, the 6-Piece Factory Style Fender Flares w/ 2 Front Extensions will fit a 1998 Sahara, but drilling may be required due to the differences between the years. Additionally these may be narrower than you stock fenders as some Saharas included extended length fender flares.
