What's the best fitting LED light option for this fender?

        • These fender flares do not have a bolt on led lighting option, as these are designed for off road use due to the minimal tire coverage.

            Fit Issues 2004 Wrangler

First, I love the fenders and they are worth the effort to install. They were not "difficult" to install, but as other people have noted, they do not come with instructions and the instructions in the video left out important details. In other words, I had to get creative on the fit of the front fenders. With the tips and heads up below, you can probably get this down in less than a day, maybe an afternoon. PS a small pneumatic cut-off tool, like the one in the video, is much better than an angle grinder with a cut-off disc. The angle grinder is tool large to make some of the cuts. If you only have an angle grinder you will need to figure out a way to make a few cuts in the tight spots. 1. The measurements given in the video were off and I had to cut significantly more off the rear end of the original fenders than the video states. (I'm a skilled metalworker and woodworker and followed the video instructions precisely, but the original fenders hit the welds on the Barricade fenders until cut back far enough) 2. The Barricade fender was hitting both the battery plate and the plate on the drivers side, so I had to modify both. 3. The original fender was spot welded to the fender well, so I had to cut them apart 4. Then I found out the that the square part of the fender well where the four bolts are extended out too far and was hitting the Barricade fender, so I had to cut the fender well back to 8 1/4" (i.e. a little past the outside hole). Of course on the other side, I just cut the fender well back to 8 1/4" skipping step 2 above. 5. The video doesn't show it, but I had to remove the nut clips on the fender well to get the holes to line up with the holes in the Barricade fender and then I still had to drill out one of the four holes in the fender well (not the Barricade fender) to get the bolt to pass through. 6. The video doesn't say it, but if you watch the video carefully, there is a bracket in front of the hood latch arm that they remove. Note: Watch the install of both the passenger and driver side front fenders in the install video. It is hard to see what they cut when the cut underneath the first fender (passenger side), but it is much clearer to see what they cut underneath the second fender (driver side). The video would be vastly improved it they would splice in a "this is what it should look like" slow scan, front to back, top and underneath, of the original fender when it is completely cut and everything is removed. I hope this helps

            Reasonable price for this product

I needed something to replace the rusting front fenders on my 2003 TJ. These will do the job nicely. I wish that they were a little wider to cover my tires. Also don't forget to get some front marker/signal lights!

            Fenders

The fender replacements worked perfectly. I did a slight modification to maje them street legal in my area with a little pin light as a marker/blonker light

            Terrible false advertising

Terrible false advertising on the pricing of these. They are not 189 for a pair of front fenders although the pictures and description would have you believe that. Once you click through everything the price jumps to 299 for the front fenders. I will never do business with this company it’s atrocious to do that to people take your money to JC Whitney.

            Great product

Product fit and finish was great, but if you struggle with rust this will be another headache. After some extra cutting and prep time they bolted right up can’t say anything bad about the fenders. Have good extensions for bolts in firewall. Hardware is ok.

            Good Product

Looks Great , but not so easy of a installation . watch the video before I Started , They made It look easy HA The video did not show you everything you needed to Cut an how much. The measurements they give you are wrong . I had to an inch more than you gave. But otherwise I love the Look.

Well made but the coating needs improvement.

For the cost these fenders are great but the coating lacks a bit. I expected it to be a little more durable. If you install them correctly it will take you more than just an afternoon but it's still pretty simple and painless. Order hood latches to go with it as you'll likely have to cut the old latches out due to rust. Also, lube the bolts (in the kit) and tighten them slowly or they may seize up.

Came chipped and dinged. But i wanted it on and it looks great aside from the chips. I took it to a jeep shop to be installed and it took them an entire day.

Pros: Price They look sharp! Great fit Cons: Junky, soft hardware. Get better nuts and bolts! Top front bolts aren't long enough for both layers. No template (you can find one online from different brand)

            Good product, bad instructions

The fenders were well made and of good quality. The online instructions are far from accurate. It would be so much better to have a template to cut your fenders. They don't mention that you will need to trim the battery trays as well or enlarge the mounting hole at the tub. Non of this would have been a big deal if clear instructions were given up front. I must have taken the front fenders on and off 5 times, each time taking longer due to the fact that there were more fasteners to remove and reinstall. The rear fenders will leave part of a large body hole exposed and one nut zerk from the factory flare. Would have been nice if the front of the rear fender was longer. Rear install was easy but no instructions were provided for the rear. Once they were installed they looked fantastic.
