Specs. Accessory switches can be difficult to mount. Most look tacky, and you'll have yet another web of wiring to hide. Rugged Ridge's black A pillar switch pod is designed to eliminate all of that by centralizing all of your accessory switches onto one easy-to-reach switch pod. It easily mounts in place of the driver side A pillar cover and provides room to mount up to 4 aux switches. No more wiring rat's nest and ugly fog light switches. This switch pod is made with factory colored and textured plastic, and the color illuminated switches are easy to find at night.

Application. This Rugged Ridge A-Pillar Switch Pod with 4 Rocker Switches is designed to fit the driver/left side A-Pillar of 2007 - 2010 Jeep Wrangler JK models.

Will this switch work for hooking up a winch to the switch??

    • Unfortunately, the Rugged Ridge Black A-Pillar Switch Pod w/ 4 Rocker Switches would not work with a winch. The switches can only handle up to 20 amps which a winch would easily overload the switches.

      4 rocker switch

I wish it fit a little better. it does click in but the gap on bottom is off and the color is off a FEW shades too. It was easy to install.

      A PILLAR Switch pod

Very will made. I do recommend heating up a sharp knife to cut out the outlined swith holes. They are not easy to cut through.

      Why so hard?

Cutting out the holes for the switches is way to hard. I tried a knife, but ended up scratching the plastic. Then I realized, it would be easier to cut the original pilar, and it was. The original pillar matches perfect to. The reason I would give it 3 stars, is the switches that came with it are awesome. They look great, on the original pillar, love the soft LED light. Get the switches for sure. Pass on the Pillar.

      A-Pillar

Excellent fit, a small amount of trimming is required, but a little patience and this is a great addition and adds a professional look to any wiring accessory.

      Poor fit.

Looks and functions great, but the fitment is poor. Some modification will be necessary, on mine, at least. 2008 JK. If not for the fit, I would have given it 5 stars.

      Looking Mean

It makes the inside of the car look good!!!. Its different and a lot of people don't know what that is for. So its very different and it gives it a distinct look to the front of the car

      Easy to install

Cant give it a 5 star because the cut outs were not all the way thru making it tough to cut.

      Just what I needed

It looks great and does what I wanted it to do .I just don't understand why they would not have pop outs in stead of cut outs.i scratch it up some trying to cut the squares out but covered it up with the rocker switchs all in all I really like it

      Nice product.

Well thought out location with easy access for wire routing. Pillar provides a clean installation of up to 4 switches. Install went well after the somewhat tedious job of cutting out areas for switches. Would have given a 5 if manufacturer would have press outs in place of cut outs.

      rugged ridge pillar switch

Love the swith works and looks great. Price was even better just wish it tightened up a bit more but you dont notice it unless you mess with it. Lighted switches are real nice. I would definitely buy this if you plan on running lights.

      Looks Factory

Looks like factory when done. Color match is good. Easy install just pops in place> I ordered mine with switches included and they seem to be good quality, the indicator lights are a little bright at night.

      Clean and functional

This switch pod was a great solution to my problem of messy wires and switches for my off-road light. This makes the switches incredibly easy to reach, and they look awesome.

      Convenient Switches

I installed the A-pillar switch kit on my '07 wrangler and love the way they work! The color is a little lighter than my interior black, but it is close, otherwise the fit and finish is perfect. installation was extremely easy with the location making the wire runs effortless. It took all of two minutes to find a you tube video showing the wiring but they need to include a wiring diagram for the switches for those that don't you tube. I love the switch location and would recommend the product very highly.
