        Just wondering will water get trapped in between the guard and vehicle? Trying to prevent rust from forming.

        • A simple 3m adhesive keeps this kit installed and attached, so where it isn't exactly going to be a major issue, it's not exactly an air tight seal. We haven't heard of any rusting issues with what you are describing, but utilizing further adhesive or sealant or a similar modification may not be the worst idea with what you are describing in mind. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

          Great Product

          This product is a life saver. Why the Jeep does not have a piece of plastic molding over the door sill is beyond me. The paint started to wear away from getting in and out of car, and eventually started to rust a little bit. I put touch up paint on areas and covered with this product. Product fits perfectly and adhesive sticks great. It has been on Jeep for about a month or two now with doors both on and off and does not feel loose. Would recommend to anyone that buys a Jeep since Mopar was not smart enough to do something about this.

          Exactly what I expected and needed. No problems.

          Exactly what I expected and needed. No problems. I am concerned about the small gap between the body and the guard. I wonder how much dirt will get trapped under there and create long term problems. But I think it will be the lesser of two evils.
