    • Reflex Antenna

    • Highly Durable Construction
    • Extremely Bendable
    • Simple Installation
    • Fits All 1997-2019 Jeep Wrangler TJ, JK and JL Models
Reliable OE-Style Antenna. Getting a reliable signal from your radio is vital when you’re out in the great outdoors, so you’ll need a radio antenna that’s both effective and dependable. Indeed, the Rugged Ridge 21-inch Reflex Stubby Antenna is designed to have a height as close to your OE antenna as possible, while its stubby design keeps it from getting taken out by low-hanging branches.

Tough yet Flexible. This tall and flexible 21” Rugged Ridge antenna has been designed to directly replace your Jeep’s factory antenna. It comes with a similar height, but with a more stubby and flexible build to help it survive hitting tree branches and other objects you can encounter on the trail. Upon impact, it’s made in such a way that it’ll bend and return to its original form quickly without snapping.

Easy to Install. This antenna is designed to directly replace your Jeep without the need for drilling, welding, or any other type of vehicle modification. For added convenience, it comes with a threaded adapter for a quick installation process.

Application. The Rugged Ridge 21 in. Reflex Stubby Antenna is made for all 1997-2019 Jeep Wrangler TJ, JK and JL models.

does this antenna pick up all stations as well as the factory antenna, or is there some loss in reception? thanks

    • The Rugged Ridge 21 in. Reflex Stubby Antenna may have a little less reception than the stock antenna but will overall still carry good reception service.

Does this work with Sirris XM radio?

    • The Rugged Ridge 21 in. Reflex Stubby Antenna is an AM/FM antenna replacement. The OEM Satellite radio antenna is attached to the passenger side of the roll bar.

I spend most of my time in rural areas and currently have a 13" flex antenna on my 2015 JK and have very poor reception (almost none). What is my best option for improved AM/FM reception?

I have a JK and A TJ. I tried to swap antenna because my TJ has a windshield mount light bar and the stock antenna hits while driving. One was a male and one was a female. Is this right or did I miss something.

    • The antenna should have a male/female adapter in it. Sometimes this sticks in the base, and sometimes in the old antenna.

      Great Antenna!

Easy to install and completely changes the look of your Jeep! Not to mention it actually works. I bought it because the factory antenna was beating up the paint when taken through the car wash. Now I have a great looking antenna with a protective barrier and worry free washes!!!

      Helps with receiption!

My radio reception is greatly increased from my 6" stubby. The connection is solid but the rubber can be pulled straight off the base with enough force. It does shake in heavy winds when driving.

      Wobbles

I installed this by screwing it in as tight as it will go but when driving it wobbles and looks like it is loose. Seems to work ok otherwise.

      Works just as suggested

Fits absolutely perfect, easy to install (just a wrench needed for removal and tightening of the new antenna) and no degradation to signal strength. Has survived weather from -3 to 93 so far and full submersion hasn't impacted the unit one bit. Definitely nicer looking and less of a concern off-road catching on things knowing it has more flex and is lower profile! And again, it just looks better.

      Stubby Antenna

Very easy to install, took less then 5 minutes, looks awesome! It does flap around a bit and every now and then it loses reception to FM stations, but overall a great product for the price.

      Good as original: looks better

I have had this 21 inch antenna on my jeep for 2 months and have notice no difference in reception. I bought the next size down for my other Jeep (15 inch , I think ) and have great reception on that one also. They look great and I don’t have to worry about them getting bent going through the car wash like on my stock antennas.

      Reception drops a little.

It is very flexy. If you are running lights on your A pillar you might want to think about it. I daily drive and at 50mph it really starts blowing around. Reception drops a small amount compared to stock, to be expected. I didn't mind the factory. It sat about 1-2 inches above my hard top which helps pulling into low parking structures. But this is very good off road with trees and brush.
