One of life's little comforts
My husband and I are in our 50/60's and we love our jeep..... And anything we can do to add to comfort or convenience is a plus. This dash insert is just the thing for all those little necessities we take on our road trips. And a very simple install.Helpful (0)

Fits Decent, not nearly as snug as OEM and you do need to reuse the factory clips, not the cheap ones that are sent on it, but other then that pretty happy with it.Helpful (1)

This should come standard!
I was very happy with this item. Easy to install, and something that I always thought should have come standard. I really needed a place for my phone, and my sunglasses. It looks good, too.Helpful (1)

Great phone holder
This makes handling your phone easy and safe with the dash mount. Can easily see maps or playlist without looking down at your lap or the cup holder which is where my phone used to be.Helpful (2)

Good Product: Use original clips
Installation went fairly easily once it was discovered we had to use the original Jeep clips as the ones provided would not stay locked in. Tray holds items well and only fault is that the phone pops out of holder sometimes going over extreme potholes found in New England.Helpful (2)

WIll this phone mount fit an iPhone 6 Plus with and Otterbox Defender case? The measurement of width, case and all, is approx. 3 1/2".
This can accommodate a phone with a width up to 3.25" so you would not be able to have this with your phone.
Will it fit an iPhone 8plus ?
Yes, this multi mount will fit any modern phone.
If I have the mounting bar still installed from Rugged Ridges other dash organizer, will this still fit? This is obviously assuming im not using the center tray on their other organizer. https://www.extremeterrain.com/rugged-ridge-dash-organizer-jk-135511.html
This will not fit if the Rugged Ridge Dash Organizer you linked is already being used.
Will this fit the 2010 rubicon model
Can you use this dash mount without the phone holder?
The Rugged Ridge Dash Multi-Mount Storage System & Phone Kit can be used with or without the phone holder. However, the phone holder "arm" will stay attached to the base.
This kit is designed for the 2007-2010 Wrangler models only. Unfortunately it has not been confirmed to fit the 2005 Wrangler.
this can accommodate a phone with a width up to 3.25". According to the Samsung S8+ dimensions, the phone is about 73.4 mm converting to aproximatley 2.9" in width. This mount would fit the phone, however, there are a few variations on the specific Otterbox in use. I would advise measuring the width of the phone with the case in use to be certain.

Hello, you shouldn't have problem using your iPhone 7 with this kit.
No, due to modifications to the dash this will not install on your 2011 JK. I would reccomend this kit: http://www.extremeterrain.com/rr-mmount-w-phone-1115-1355116.html which will work with your 2011 model. This kit will hold an iPhone 7 but if you have a case you may have some fitment issues.
