    Review & Install Video

I'm Ryan from, and this is my review of the Rugged Ridge Floor Liners fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs. These are available as just the front, the rear passenger, or the cargo area mat, but you can also get them in a kit that will have everything that you're looking for in your Jeep. These are also available for a few different year ranges because Jeep did change the floor a little bit. And of course, they're available for your two-door or your four-door JK. Once you have all of that picked out, you can then decide between three different colors: gray, tan, or black. These are for those of you who are looking to finish off the look of the interior of their Jeep, and provide some protection to their factory carpeting. These are designed to fit really well because they're designed for your specific body style, and year range Jeep. Some floor mats are designed to fit everything from 2007 to 2016, and they don't fit quite as well as these ones are going to fit. Now, in my opinion, floor mats have always been something that were overpriced. I don't know why they cost as much as they do. But in the realm of floor mats, I think these ones are pretty fairly priced for the quality of the material and the fitment. These are made of a TPE material, which is sort of a hybrid between a plastic and a rubber, which means they're going to be flexible, but they're also going to hold up really well. They're injection molded, and they have this chevron pattern in them which is going to give you a little bit of an additional grip, but also hold mud and other spills pretty well in the mat. Something that's really important in my opinion about a floor mat is retention. You don't want the floor mat moving around on you, and certainly not bunching up under the pedals. The front mats have a couple of areas punched out in them, so they'll snap into the factory floor mat hooks on the floor. So again, they're not going to move around. The rear mats have spikes on the bottom of them to give them some retention into the carpet as well. The one thing that I'll say that I don't like about this, and if you've seen some of our other videos, something I'm not a fan of is having a large logo on any product. I don't want my Jeep to be a billboard for a brand. And the logo that are on these is a little bit too big in my opinion. You can always remove it, but then you're left with the molded oval in all of the floor mats. As far as installation goes, well, they're floor mats. You just pretty much put them into place. As I mentioned, the fronts do have a couple of cut-outs with plugs in them, and you'll have to pop the plug out for your year so that you can attach the front mats into the factory hooks that are in the factory carpeting. If this takes you more than 15 minutes to install, it took you a long time. And you won't need any tools at all, of course, they just drop into place. The only bit of modification that you may need to do when installing one of these rear cargo mats is to make a cut where your sub is. Otherwise, you won't be able to fit the cargo mat in the Jeep properly. Like I said before, I've never really understood why floor mats were quite as expensive as they are. But as far as floor mats go, I think that these ones are well built. They have nice high sides, and the chevron's built into them to hold on to messes. They're designed to fit really well, and they have a retention system which means they won't move around under your feet. If I'm going to buy a floor mat, I would definitely take a look at these Rugged Ridge ones. So if you're looking to add some protection to your interior for those trail rides when your boots get muddy, or just for on the road in snow and rainy conditions, this is a nice option for something that I think is priced fairly and well built. So that's my review of the Rugged Ridge Floor Liners fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs that you can find right here at

Mats are great. The only problem was you have to cut out the holes for the back

      Almost great

The front and rear liners for my Jeep (2-door) are great but I received a cargo floor liners that did not fit my Jeep. Since we also have a 4-door 2017 we were able to use it in it. We had previously purchased liners, front and back, for the 2017 and had not purchased a cargo liner, so all worked out good.

      Cargo liner

The cargo mat did not work with the rear seat folded over. We made the cuts for the latch but the seat would not lock back into place. We ended up having to cut all of the part that went under the seat off so the seat could be put back into the locked position. The design didn’t work and we would like a mat that will fit the back portion of the cargo area without going under the rear seat.

      Great protection

Mats arrived quickly. Front and back installed quite easily. Cargo area mat required cutting and loving my rear seat back into place.

      Love the look and quality

These are very durable and nice looking. I looked at several brands before purchasing these. These were also the best priced on ET. I would have given 5 stars if the back cargo liner would have fit. Instead my husband will have to cut it down. I closely researched several sights to find one that would fit my cargo area but no such luck. I will have to make slots and trim around the sides.

      Very Nice

They are a very nice fit and quality. The only thing is you have to make a few cuts in the cargo liner for the rear seat. Other than that a great fit for my 2015 Wrangler. I would recommend this to anyone.

      Great fit and nice touch!

To my surprise, the logo wasn't as big as it was put out to be. It's a huge relief to have these especially in the south, where all types of weather comes inside and on your floor. The backseat mats are a little tiny though....

Great floor protection! The cargo mat will slide forward when the rear seat is removed, not when installed though.. All in all very satisfied.

      Nice, but...

Good product for the money, just wish the rear cargo liner was made out of the same thick material as the other pieces... it's kinda thin plastic, almost like kiddie-pool plastic.

      Good but not Great

The floor liners don't match perfectly in the front but are close enough. The only real problem is they have a very smooth back and tend to slide. I will be adding Velcro to keep both the front driver, passenger and the rear large liner in place.

Back floor mats are to small

I like the front ,Great coverage, picks up all the dirt and snow. Back Mat is great high side walls and a non slip surface. The rear seat mats are to small, put a couple af adults in the back seat and they just don't cover the floor, Dirt and snow all over back carpet.. Needs to be re engineered for function not look

      Good Overall

The front and rear passenger mats fit great and are very heavy duty. The cargo mat is a different, thinner material. Holes must be cut in the cargo mat for the rear seat mounting points if you want to have the mat and the rear seats in the Jeep at the same time.
