    Tackle the Toughest Trails. Add the best in off-road articulation to your TJ Wrangler with Rough Country's Long Arm Upgrade Kit. Designed for use with a 4-inch to 6-inch lift, the included control arms have a high clearance design for increased ground clearance. Featuring flex joints designed by Rough Country, this Long Arm Kit maintains optimum alignment and provides optimum articulation.

    Kit Contents. Front and rear lower high clearance arms with X-Flex Joints, front and rear upper control arms with X-Flex Joints, control arm mounting brackets, rubicon compressor bracket, track bar bracket, and hardware.

    Application. This Rough Country Long Arm Upgrade Kit is designed to fit 1997-2006 Wrangler TJs with a 4-inch to 6-inch Lift, excluding unlimited models.

    Technical Notes. Slip Yoke Eliminator with CV Driveshaft is recommended to avoid driveline vibration. Rubicon models do not need SYE kit, but a CV Driveshaft is still recommended. Exhaust will have to be cut and rerouted to make sure it is away from the moving components.

    Freight Notes. Freight items can only be shipped within the continental 48 states, no expedited methods.

    Will this kit work with a stock driveshaft?

    • When lifting 4-6" on the TJ models it is highly recommend to get an aftermarket driveshaft.

    Could this kit be installed with a 8 inch lift

    • This would not work with the 8" lift, this kit is specific to a 4-6" lift.

    When it is said that exhaust needs to be rerouted, to what extent does this need to be done.

    • The factory exhaust must be modified / rerouted to have adequate clearance on all fixed and moving components, with any long arm lift kit or long arm upgrade like the Rough Country Long Arm Upgrade Kit. The extent of modification can vary based on your current exhaust step up.

      Getting installed

      Took awhile to find an installer, alot of shops shy away when they find you have to remove old control arm brackets but I'm sure I'll like it

      Great Product!

      I was looking for something to make my weekend warrior a ride a bit better both on and off road. I looked at a lot of long arm upgrade kits but didnt want to go with a full kit money wise. This kit met all expectations and went on very easily once the stupid skid plate came off. Would definitely recommend to a friend! Also, product came quick and safely with Free Shipping! Cant beat that.

      Best modification I have done to my jeep by far!!!!

      My jeep has a 4 inch lift with 33s. Originally it had short arm control arms. These started to bend and the bushings would wear out very quickly. I decided to upgrade to long arms and in doing so, my jeep is way better off-road and onroad! I am very pleased with the product and would defiantly recommend to a friend!
