      Description

      Reinforced Support. Rough Country's HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier with Mount was designed to redistribute the weight of your JK's spare tire across the entire tailgate to eliminate unwanted metal fatigue caused by over sized spares. With this big, beefy Tire Carrier in place you can mount up to a 37-inch spare tire without having to worry about any undo stress or strain. Rough Country's HD Tire Carrier will not affect the daily operation of your Jeep's tailgate.

      Rugged Construction. Rough Country manufactures their HD Tire Carrier and Mount from heavy duty, carbon steel plate for superior strength and extra rigidity. Rough Country then completes the entire Carrier in a high-grade textured black powder coat finish for long lasting corrosion resistance.

      Bolt-on Installation. Rough Country designed their Hinged Spare Tire Carrier to be a direct bolt-on upgrade for all Jeep JK models. As a direct bolt-on, this Tire Carrier reuses the original factory mounting points and does not require any additional cutting, drilling, or fabrication for installation. A 3rd brake light relocation bracket is included.

      Application. This Rough Country HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier Kit is designed to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models with a factory or aftermarket rear bumper.
