This rear axle is especially ideal for Wranglers that have undergone some form of power upgrade.
Rugged Chrome-Molybdenum Construction. The Rough Country 32 Spline 4340 Chromoly Replacement Dana Driver Side Rear Axle’s 4340 chrome-molybdenum (chromoly) alloy construction offers a 50% increase in strength over your stock axle. Its 32 splines are ideal not just for more aggressive off-roading, but for running larger tires. Lastly, this rear axle is left unfinished.
Direct Fit. The Rough Country 32 Spline 4340 Chromoly Replacement Dana Driver Side Rear Axle is designed to directly fit the driver side Dana 44 axle case. This driver side rear axle comes with its ABS ring, axle bearing, seal, and retainer plate pre-pressed for convenience. Installation requires a lot of time to complete as well as advanced mechanical skills. As such, professional installation is recommended. Please note that this axle will only fit factory lockers.
