Hey, guys. So, today, we're checking out the RedRock 4x4 Gladiator Grille, fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJ Wranglers. So, if you are looking to drastically switch up the styling of the front end of your TJ, this grille by RedRock 4x4 is going to be right up your alley. Now, as you can see, this is going to add a very aggressive aesthetic to the front end of the TJ with a brow up top that gives it a very angry style look. And this is going to have a pretty angular design, again, adding a very dynamic look to the front end, and it's really going to go well with any other aggressive accessories that you already have on your TJ. Now, this is going to have multiple fins on the inside, so we'll be getting rid of that classic seven-slot design. However, that is going to open up room for airflow, but it's also going to provide a little bit of protection in the meantime, considering that there is a honeycomb insert in between each of those fins. So, if you're looking for a little bit of protection to the components behind your grille, this is also going to do just that. Now, this is made of an ABS plastic material. So, this will be able to hold up and you can keep it this matte black color or you do have the option to paint it, since this is a paintable material. So, if you are looking to match it to the specific pink color on your TJ or if you're looking to keep it this matte black for a nice contrast, as you can see here with our green, then you have that option to do so.Now, overall, I think that this is just a great choice for anybody who's looking to switch up the styling and is looking for that little bit of protection and functionality that this grille also offers. Now, when it comes to pricing, this is going to come in at roughly $150. And, in my opinion, you really can't beat it when you get such a drastic change like this. Now, some other options available on the page are usually going to be for inserts that either go behind the grille or they're going to insert in the slots themselves, as for this is a full cover that goes over your factory grille and, again, switches up the styling. There is other options available for grille covers like this. However, they may not have this type of styling or they may have a printed design on the mesh screen that is available on those. However, if you're not really looking for a design, you're just looking for more aggressive aesthetic, then this is definitely going to be a great choice to take look into. Now, when it comes to install, I'm going to give this a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you about two hours to get the job done. You may have to do a little bit of modification as far as trimming is concerned to your sway bar cover if you're looking to reinstall that. However, if you're not, you're not going to have to do any modification at all. You're going to need some very basic hand tools. So, speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.The tools that I used for my install were an electric ratchet, a 10-millimeter wrench, a 1/4-inch drive ratchet, and a 10-millimeter socket. So, to kick off this install, we need to take off our sway bar cover. Now, for that, we're going to need to remove the two bolts on either side. So, for this, you'll need a 10-millimeter socket and a ratchet or an electric ratchet. So, as you can see, there's two bolts that are in the frame there. They're holding on that cover. I'm going to use this 10-millimeter socket and remove them. Then we can repeat that on the other side. Then we can pop off our sway bar cover. Now, with our hood open, what we can do is fit our grille down on in. Now, we are going to have to, kind of, flex it behind our sway bar here. So, once it's sitting behind our sway bar, what we can do is take our provided push pins and install those up at the top. So, now that the top is secure, what we can do is secure the bottom. So, we can take our provided bolt, flat washer, and nut and thread that into place. So, after those are secure, we can take a 10-millimeter socket and wrench and tighten those up. Same with the other side. So, at this point, if you want to reinstall your sway bar cover, you will have to do a little bit of trimming on the outside in order to have it fit with the grille cover. However, I am not going to trim this. So, at this point, all we have to do is close up our hood and we'll be all set to go.So, that is going to wrap it up for my review and install.
