    Review & Installation Video

Hey guys I'm Ryan from Extreme Terrain and this is my review of the RedRock 4x4 dual outlet axle-back exhaust that fits all 2007 to 2016 Jeep JKs both 2 door and 4 door. As you can see the system is offered in both black and stainless finishes. This is a great exhaust for those of you who spend most of the time on the road or on light trails without a lot of tailpipe crushing obstacles. For those of you who spend more time on the rocks, you'll want to look at our high clearance exhaust systems that tuck everything up and out of the way. When you're shopping for an axle-back exhaust for your Jeep you're really looking at three factors, one being sound of course, the second being build quality and the third being the looks. No axle-back is going to provide huge power gains to your JK. The exhaust is not the most restrictive part of the system so opening it up isn't going to give you a ton more power. Unfortunately no axle-back is going to make your V6 sound like a V8. That being said, this exhaust will give you a nice low note. You'll definitely notice more of a growl especially when you're in the higher RPM band - when you get into the throttle getting onto an onramp for instance. I'll give it about a two out of five on loudness. You'll get a little bit more sound but you'll definitely notice the lower note. When it comes to the quality of the construction, these are really solid especially for a budget system. They don't sound tinny. Got a nice heavy weight to them. The welds are consistent and look really strong. And, the finish is great in both black and in stainless. They use the same 409 stainless material as some of the most expensive systems, so they should hold up for you in the long run. If you were to have any problems in the first three years, RedRock 4x4 offers a three year warranty. Finally, visually the systems look great. You get the dual outlet exhaust that gives your Jeep a tough look and you get to choose between either the stainless with the polished tips or the black to really customize the look of your rig. The install for this system could not be any easier. You need one wrench to loosen and retighten three different bolts, and it uses all the factory hangers. On a scale of one to five this is definitely a one. You can probably get this done in less than an hour with normal hand tools. You don't even need to call a friend for an extra set of hands. If you want to see what other people are saying about this exhaust system, make sure you check out the customer submitted reviews on the website. If you're having trouble deciding between black or stainless, there are tons of customer submitted pictures. For you guys that are staying on the road or on the light trails and want that nice low exhaust note and a custom look, this is the perfect system for you. It's really well built for the budget and shares a lot of features with the more expensive systems that we offer. That's my review of the RedRock 4x4 dual outlet axle-back exhaust. For more reviews check out extremeterrain.com. In the meantime I'm Ryan. Thanks for watching.

      Red Rock dual Outlet Exhaust

Just installed the REDROCK Dual Outlet Axle-Back Exhaust on my 2018 Wrangler Unlimited. it sounds great for a lower price Exhaust. and took me about 1 hour with help to install. but did not have a lift to use. the hard part was getting the rubber mounts off with the old Exhaust. The new one went on with no problem

      Easy install with nice sound.

Install was easy. Had to do it in the cold so I am glad it was quick. Took 45 minutes and hardest part was taking out the old muffler because I had to hack saw through one hang post. After that install was easy. The sound is nice compared to stock.

      Looks Good/Sounds good

The muffler was easy to install, has a little tone to it, and provides the look of a dual exhaust. Nothing like a magna flow, but less then half the price as well. Good quality stainless for longevity. Happy Camper here!

      Like the Sound

I like the sound of this system. Low growl and if you do punch it you will absolutely let the lion out! However, I bought this exhaust to improve mileage and make to Jeep sound better. The fit was easy and the finish looks like a quality product.

      We dig it

Take away the time it took to free up the 11 year old stock muffler, and this was an easy install. Product quality seems really good, especially the clamps and tips. Definitely changes the sound of the exhaust to a lower note.

      Fit perfect. Sounds good.

Not as loud or as deep as I expected. But I’m glad. The low notes are nice. The bulk of the sound is in acceleration and no drone what so ever. Easy Installation (after getting my rusted stock exhaust off). Took two hours to get old off and 20 min to get new on. On highway drive my 35” tiers are still Lowder. (That’s a good thing for long drives)

      Well worth the price

This exhaust is perfect for me. Loud but not too loud and I like the look. It also gave me about 1 extra mpg per the reading on the dash. Only downsides are it hangs a little crooked and it also is hitting the heat shield right above the exhaust making an awful rattle. Suppose I can bend back the heat shield a bit to stop the rattle though.

      Oh, She Growls.

Well, it took exactly an hour. The toughest part was getting the hangers over the rods but not difficult. Once factory was off the kit went on in under 15 minutes! Took 'er around the block to check for looseness and sound and wow! It might be all in my mind but it seems to ride more open, unrestricted. The sound has a "mountain lion" growl to it. So far best accessory added to my Golden Eagle.
