Specs. If you want a strong, durable upgrade to your JK Rubicon, then you want the RCV Performance Products Ultimate Dana 44 CV Front Axle Set. This product is made from incredibly durable, aircraft quality steel, and uses the same technology that's used in the Dana 60 CV. It's smoother than a typical u-joint, because it doesn't have a knuckle bend. There's also minimal maintenance and no yoke ears to contend with.

Construction. You'll be impressed with the patented high durometer urethane boot that keeps this joint safe from debris and tough weather. The constant velocity means better traction, and the part comes packed with grease. You don't have to worry about c-clips, and the manufacturer covers this part with their "You break it, we replace it" warranty.

Application. This CV rear axle works with 2007-2018 JK Wrangler Rubicons.

    1 Top Rated Question

Hi, I have a 2009 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited and wanted to replace my front axle shafts. I really would like to purchase these, just had a question, I have read and heard from a few people that if you have a stock hub you might need to grind a part of the hub for these to install correctly? Ive watched a few videos that does not show grinding at all and they are a direct fit with the included bolts.. Could you let me know if these are the right ones for my vehicle and also if they are a direct fit or what is need to install. Thanks so much Joe

    • Hello, As per RCV: RCV Ultimate CV axles for Jeeps are designed to simply fit in place of your OE axle shafts. Minor clearance modifications are only needed for SJ, TJ, LJ and XJ models. The process is simplified with use of an RCV clearance gauge included with the axle set.

      I like!

I have had these on for a little over a month and so far so good. My 1 advise is once you see the gap in the axle, you might want to consider axle seals and unlike me I had to tear everything apart again to mount the seals. So I suggest buy the seals, so you don't have to do it twice.

Last axles you will buy! The fit and finish is outstanding! The ride is some much smoother. You can turn and put the power down with no problems!

Perfect for anyone wheeling hard with 35 tires

If you haven't ever felt that sinking feeling from the tell tale snap while crawling or wondered how the heck your axle could break in the snow, sand or mud and you run a Dana 44... You probably will. An upgrade is required when running 35's . When it came time for me to upgrade I was skeptical about the hype with RCV's but after running these things with heavy Toyo 38's on a 44 I'm impressed so far. I've been snow bashing super hard and crawling in Colorado and they've not let me down so much that I think about leaving the spare at home. There is no bind at full steering lock unlike U joints and more torque is delivered. There is a clicking noise at full lock in 4wd. Install is easy and I had no fitment issues on 13 jku

      great upgrade

For the money these axles are great, they where alittle difficult to put in then regular axles but well worth the time and effort.
