Description

This shock enhances vehicle stability while towing, hauling, or traversing rugged terrain.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with an 18mm nitrocarburized piston rod that resists corrosion and scuffs, and reinforced with double-welded loops, this shock features a durable 2.18-inch tri-tube steel body filled with all-weather fluid for thermal resilience. The silver painted finish and polyvinyl protective boot ensure long-lasting durability and resistance against harsh environments.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, making it suitable for experienced DIY mechanics. It typically requires basic hand tools and fits existing mounting points.
Warranty. This shock absorber comes backed by a limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
Application. Specifically fits the 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ for rear suspension with no lift or small lift applications. Use RS994240 as a replacement part after RS999240 reaches depletion.
