The Power Stop Performance Rear Brake Calipers are for those of you that have a 2007 to 2018 JK that are looking to replace those factory calipers that may be rusted, leaking, otherwise worn out, and need to be swapped. So this is going to be a set that's going to look and function just like a factory set aside from, of course, the high-temp red coating that's on here. But other than that, they are going to be very, very similar to a factory brake because, in fact, they are. These are going to be a remanufactured brake, which means they take the housing and all of the cast stuff that's nice and solid, replace all of the seals, replace all of the hardware, recoat it, and give you something that is going to function just like new. Now, these are going to be a very easy install because they do install just like a factory brake. One out of three wrenches, very, very simple, and I'll talk you through that process in just a second. Now, these are going to be a little bit more expensive than a regular replacement set of calipers for your Jeep because they do have the red coating on them. If that's something you're really into, if that goes with your color scheme, you really like that, this is gonna be an excellent choice. If you don't need that, you want to paint them yourself, maybe you want a different color, you can go with pretty much any other caliper out there and color-change them to this and probably come in under this price tag. As I mentioned, this is going to be a remanufactured caliper. So for all intents and purposes, it is going to be a factory caliper aside from that red coloring. But it does come completely refreshed, completely remanufactured. So this is going to work and function just like a factory one at less than the cost of going to the dealership, but a little bit more of going with another aftermarket caliper. Getting these installed, again, is a one-out-of-three-wrench installation. All you have to do is unbolt the caliper from the caliper bracket, slide it out of the bracket itself. You'll go ahead and disconnect your brake line from the caliper. Reconnect the brake line to your new caliper. Go ahead and bolt that onto the caliper bracket. And the last thing you need to do is bleed out the brake system to get all of the air out of the new calipers before you go for a drive. These calipers from Power Stop are gonna come in at $250, which is going to be a little bit more than some of the uncoated other calipers on the market. As I mentioned before, if you like this red coating, you're not interested in painting a set of calipers yourself, this is gonna be a good way to go.So if you're looking to replace the rear calipers on your Jeep, I would recommend taking a look at this option from Power Stop. And you can find them right here, at extremeterrain.com.
