Get rid of bump stop...
Product arrived nicely packaged. The arm is well built and machined. Very hefty. Installed and my bump steer virtually disappeared.

Get a tool first!!!
Okay, this is a very straight-forward removal and installation. However, before you begin, you WILL need a Pitman Arm removal tool. After I spent 2 hours trying to remove the factory arm, I broke my gear puller. Sigh... I went to Autozone and borrowed an actual Pitman Arm puller (their big one), and the old unit was off in 15 minutes. Don't be afraid of cranking on the tool, it can take it. After the arm was removed (and hanging on the steering rod), I used the tool again to pop the tapered shaft from the ball joint out of the old arm. Installing the new dropped Pitman Arm was straight forward and the directions were fairly accurate. When it was done, I made the mistake of driving my 2014 Wrangler with the steering wheel out of center, which caused my ESC Warning light to start flashing. Back home and in the garage, two twists of the adjustment in the drag link, tighten it up again, and a quick drive up the interstate, confirmed that all was now well and worked as advertised. I installed this at the same time I installed a front track bar relocation bracket, so I now have no "bump-steer". Nice product, very solid, easy to install (after time spent removing the old one).
