Description
Lose the Attached Spare Parts. Most new cars don’t bolt spare parts to the body; it’s a utilitarian money and space-saving practice that dates back over 100 years and speaks to a lack of refinement in a vehicle. If you want to remove the heavy, intrusive spare tire and wheel from the back of your Jeep, this Motobilt Spare Tire Delete plate allows you to mount your license plate in a more central location while also including a convenient bottle opener. This plate fits both 2 and 4-door Wrangler JK models using the factory hardware.
Well-Planned Alteration. Your Jeep’s rear door incorporates a vent. By moving the license plate to this tire delete plate, the vent can be retained, hidden behind the license plate. A cutout is provided for the license plate light to be installed (sold separately). The plate is made from thick 14-gauge steel, which is then finished in a durable black powder coat.
Easy to Install. Simply unbolt the external spare wheel and tire, remove the large bracketry that held those in place, and bolt this plate in the same position using the same hardware and mounting points. It comes with a notch for the tag light as well as a built-in bottle opener.
Application. This Black Powder-Coated Spare Tire Delete Bracket fits all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models, both 2-door and 4-door. Note: Most states require a rear license plate light, sold separately.
