Stronger and Beefier. Your JK's factory installed steel front axle shafts are better suited for driving on paved roads as opposed to free wheeling, off-road adventures. The stock axle shafts are prone to bend or snap especially when running a larger diameter tire. It is for this reason Mammoth 4x4 manufactures their Front Axle Shafts from 4140 chromoly to handle the added load of big knobby all-terrain tires. Stronger than stock, these Axles feature beefed up, heavy duty Spicer U-joints to manage the extra abuse associated with serious off-roading.

4340 Chromoly Construction. Forged from 4340 chromoly alloy, which is harder and lighter than traditional steel, these Front Axles are heat treated to obtain maximum strength. Featuring thicker diameter walls and upgraded forged ends these Mammoth Front Axle assemblies are considerably stronger than their OEM counterparts. Mammoth then completes their Axles in a black oxide finish for long lasting corrosion protection.

Application. These Mammoth 4x4 Front Axles are available for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon (30-spline) models. Joints are pre-assembled.
