Improved Engine Voice. If you’re looking to upgrade the sound and efficiency of your exhaust system, but you don’t want to break the bank, the Magnaflow Street Series Axle-Back Exhaust with Polished Tips may be the solution for you. This is a lighter exhaust modification, which includes a free-flowing muffler and stylish dual tips. It turns the flat exhaust sound of your Jeep Wrangler JL into a deeper and more luxurious growl. And, as an SAE J1169-compliant exhaust system, the modification is completely street legal, so you don’t have to worry about violating any regulations.
Improved Engine Breathability. The straight-through muffler included in the Street Series Axle-Back Exhaust promotes better airflow, which results to improved engine breathability and exhaust efficiency. With a more efficient exhaust system, you get an increase in horsepower and torque.
American-Made Exhaust. Magnaflow is proud to say that the Magnaflow Street Series Exhaust is designed and manufactured right here in the USA. This means the company can oversee the overall production to ensure quality standards are kept high, starting with the materials. The mufflers, tips, and piping of the Street Series are made of tough 409-grade steel, which is extremely heat and corrosion resistant. The 2.5 inch-diameter, mandrel-bent pipe inlet supports free airflow. And finally, the polished finishing ensures protection from rust and corrosion.
Clamp-On Mounting. As a direct factory replacement, the Magnaflow Street Series Axle-Back Exhaust is easy enough to install. You don’t need special tools or professional help. What you do need is the existing factory hanger that you can use to secure the new muffler in place.
Magnaflow’s Comprehensive Coverage. The Magnaflow Street Series Axle-Back Exhaust is backed by the company’s lifetime construction warranty that covers structural defects for as long as you own the exhaust system. The coverage is valid only for structural damages occurring under normal use. For more information about their warranty policies and claim procedures, please visit the manufacturer’s website.
Application. The Magnaflow Street Series Axle-Back Exhaust with Polished Tips fits 2018-2020 2.0L or 3.6L Jeep Wrangler JL models.

be aware that the Magnaflow MF exhaust doesn't fit the Jeep JL. The inside diameter of the exhaust pipe is too small to fit the jeep exhaust pipe. Extreme terrain will state that it does fit but this is incorrect. You will need to have the pipe flared at your cost and considerable inconvenience. I now question their opinionsa of fit for all other parts.Helpful (12)

I was alittle hesitate at first because people were talking about how hard it was to install but I went ahead and took my chances. After receiving it which only took about 4 days I installed it an it was very easy......total time was about 35-40 minutes start to finish. Awesome product and sounds great too so it's easy to say I'm very pleased!!Helpful (10)

Wranger is now a "growler"!
I've used Magnaflow products for years so I know that they are a life time unit once installed. This is however the first one I've ever had a problem installing. It's straight forward getting the old one off...15 minutes tops. Then the fun began as I could not slide the new one on. (We're talking axle-back) My granddaughter and I screwed around with this until I decided to go to the parts store and buy an expander. Well this is top shelf stainless steel so I didn't get much spread. Still no fit...took to my local garage and they expanded it on their pipe bender and it slid right on. I had to end up using regular muffler clamps as the strap job could not tighten down enough. I found later on the forum that some of these were not expanded far enough as several members had the same problem I did. The old system has 2 9/16" inside diameter...the Magnaflow was expanded just under 2 1/2"!! Make sure you measure before you even attempt it. The shipping box is another commented issue as the Titanic could have fit in the box and the unit can really move around. All in all it sounds and looks great...a little aggravation makes the world go round! I recommend it.Helpful (11)

Great Sound, Just Right!
The new JL Wrangler, with the 3.6/manual transmission, has good sound straight from the factory. It sounded so good, I needed more. This exhaust gets wonderful sound from this engine without buzzing or sounding like a street rocket. It deepens the sound of the new updated Pentastar, but without being obnoxious. It is now a deeper, more burly sound. I've got the manual transmission, so it makes it even more fun to go through the rpm band as you go through the gears. It sounds great from idle to easy driving around town to mashing the gas. On the highway, it has excellent manners and is nice and quiet. When you go to pass, it comes to life! The beauty of it is in the enhanced sound without increasing volume. It truly is the best of both worlds. On top of all that, it looks beautiful. It does compromise departure angle a little, but I've got a lift and 35's, so it isn't a problem. The sound is well worth it. The fit and finish on this exhaust is great, too, as should be expected from Magnaflow. I hit it with Eagle One Never Dull for stainless steel. It really brought out the shine! Overall, I'm super happy with this exhaust, and I highly recommend it! I will admit, I had a buddy at an exhaust shop install it. They had to wrestle with the stock exhaust to get it off. I didn't have the right tools. It took them about 25 minutes.Helpful (16)
