Windshield Mirror, Why? One of the reasons you bought your 1987-2018 Wrangler YJ, TJ and JK was because you can take the top and/or doors off when you feel like it. The only problem is your state requires at least one external mirror, possibly two, and these mirrors are mounted onto the doors. The Lange Quick Mirror II mounts to your windshield using existing hardware. Your Wrangler stays street legal, and you can check your hair and/or makeup while you're checking up on those you left behind in your slipstream (but only if you are sitting on the passenger side).

Construction and Finish. The Lange Quick Mirror II is fashioned from stainless steel and aircraft grade aluminum. The rear is coated with black matte powdercoat finish, that protects it from corrosion, rust and scratches.

Available Upgrades. If your Wrangler has a half-door on the passenger side, you may need a special "S" stem, available from the factory at no charge.

Installation. The Lange Quick Mirror II fits on existing windshield hinge mounts and adjusts easily to whatever position your heart desires. When you want to put the doors back on, the mirror removes easily with a twist.

Warranty. Lange Originals covers the Quick Mirror II - Black with a one-year warranty.

Application. The Lange Quick Mirror II - Black fits all models of 1987-2018 Wrangler YJ, TJ & JK.

            Don't buy

            1. Out of the box the quick release knob was broke. 2. Mounting screws had the wrong thread type 3. the thread holes for the Hex locking screws were only partially threaded. 4. the position of the mirrors are a little high creating a front blind spot when driving a trail. I can look around the mirrors, but if the mounted lower more on line where the door mirrors would be it would provide a better view out the front. Even though I had purchased the warranty and Extreme Terrain already had my credit card information they refused to send a new one until they had received the bad one. Since I had a trip to go on I rethreaded to hex nut holes and made due with the broken knob. So only 1 star for Extreme Terrain.

            Functional...

Second time purchasing these items for my Jeep (first ones "lost" by movers). Their fitment on the window frame is great. I will continue to make adjustments to them in figuring out how to get full function of the passenger side mirror when the soft door uppers are installed. They provide good visibility to the rear otherwise.

            Best one so far

This one is the best set I found so far. Stays in place feels solid, of course they will vibrate on high speed but that’s a given. I really like them easy to get on and off. No issues at all

DONT BUY IF YOU LIKE YOUR PAINT

These are good quality and look good. However! The part that attaches to the windshield frame is bare with no padding or insulation which scratched my paint. I called Lange and was told the company left it bare so the “customer could determine what kind of padding he wanted.” I told them if that was even remotely true it should have been stated in desc., I was then hung up on.

            Great look and fit

I had previously used the mirrors that just sort of stick into the hinge. They are fine for off-road and low-speed applications - but are terrible when the occasion calls for some even low highway speeds. These are a great alternative, easy clean mounting and pretty stable at higher speeds. Very happy with them. Had a small issue with one of the machined set-screw holes being cross-threaded and unusable. As usual, customer service w/ET was AWESOME! Shipped me out replacement bracket AOK!

            mirrors

finally a set of mirrors that don't shake or raddled they stay where you set them , when you take them off and then reinstall them they don't lose the adjustment,

            Horrible hardware they provided.

Mirrors themselves are excellent. The provided Allen screws are completely useless as they felt like they were cross threading the entire time. I didn’t even use them and used my existing torx screws that were on my Jeep. Not a good design by Lange.

            Let down!

Mirrors looked great, seemed to be of high quality and the metal arm and the bracket itself. The round twist right knob on the bracket is plastic, wish it was metal. The Alan head tightening screw for the arm stripped out and I am going to send them back and find another mirror. Also the passenger side mirror had limited view. I could only see a quarter of the mirror at the best adjusted angle. And boy did I try ever angle. The mirrors did look cool though. It’s the weekend so I haven’t had a chance to talk yet. But I’m sure it will be handled well. Love the website.

Set Screw Easily Strips and Will Not Hold

The aluminum base for the set screw that holds the mirror rod does not have enough thread for the hex head set screw to grab enough to provide the tightness needed to keep the rod from moving. The few threads are also very easily stripped and then of course it won't hold at all.

            A vision...

Mirrors were easy to install and look great. Only thing I would suggest is that the arms extend out a bit more. Other than that, perfect.

            Best Mirrors So Far

Have tried OEM, various other cheap mirrors on my 99 Sahara to no avail. Within weeks they would loosen or break when rying to tighten down. These guys really work!

            More visibility

This mirror is mounted up out of the way of your view of the trail you are driving on. The stock mirror on the door obstructs view of the trail when looking at obstacles on the trail. With these mirrors, it is easier to see what my front tire is headed for. It is very easily removed if you want to leave your stock mirror on your door when you put your doors back on after the trail. I like it.

            Worth the higher price

These mirrors work very well. They are easy to install, and they are adjustable in all dimensions, so you can get them exactly where you like and pointed at the angle you like. They hold strong even at highway speeds with minimal vibration. I'm glad I paid for these higher quality mirrors.

            Lange Quick Mirror II

The problem I had with these mirrors was that who ever decided to put a allen screw to hold the bar on must been dreaming. The first day I put them on the allen screw stripped out and I had to end up getting them tacked on! Other then that they work will. I like the side plate on the jeep where you install the mirror.
