The 4-channel amp powers 75 watts RMS through your Jeep's speakers with low distortion, and offers studio-grade signal processing with high- or low-pass 12 dB/octave filters per channel pair. When you want to change it up, switch to a 2-channel or 3-channel mode with the amp's input type switches that bridge stereo output channels without any Y-adapters required.

Compact Amp. JL Audio proves that a large chassis is not a requirement for a powerhouse amp. The Class D full-range amplifier is ultra-compact, featuring all controls conveniently on the amp's top; with its dimensions of 2.12"H x 9.78"W x 6.96"D, this amp won't take up much space in your vehicle's interior. LED Clipping Indicators. The RD400/4 amp comes with LED clip lights, which you won't get with just any amp. The indicators enable you to set the amp's input sensitivity settings easily and fast, without having to break out any special tools. Once you determine where to safely mount the amp in your Wrangler, follow the included instructions to install it, which includes running power wire from the disconnected battery to the amp.
