Description
Dual-Rate Sway Bar System. The SwayLOC Sway Bar is designed to enhance the handling and articulation of the 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ by providing selectable stiffness for both on-road and off-road driving. It allows the driver to switch between a firm sway bar setup for road stability and a disengaged bar for improved wheel articulation off-road, enabling a more controlled and comfortable driving experience in diverse conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This sway bar features two concentric torsion bars housed in durable aluminum brackets that mount to the stock sway bar location. The system includes a manual flip lever for spring-loaded engagement or, optionally, a remote air-operated latch for switching between off-road and on-road modes, designed for rugged durability.
Installation. Installation uses the existing mounting points at the stock sway bar location. The included multi-piece linkage kit adapts to lift heights ranging from stock up to over 10 inches, ensuring compatibility and ease of fitting. Some aftermarket bumpers or skid plates may require modification for clearance.
Application. Engineered specifically for the 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ, this sway bar is compatible with stock bumpers and lower valances. The product supports both manual lever and optional remote air-controlled operation, requiring a minimum 50 PSI air supply for remote disengagement.
