In fact, this transmission shift boot plays an essential role in protecting your transmission linkage protected from debris. This shift boot’s high-grade rubber construction and OE design enable it to protect your transmission linkage from dust and debris, helping prevent premature wear. The result is a smoother running transmission.

      Resilient Build Quality. This transmission shift boot is constructed from a specially formulated rubber compound for superior resistance to deterioration and cracking over time. Moreover, this transmission shifter boot is molded to OE specifications, offering factory fit when installed. Finally, this shifter boot comes in a standard black colorway to match the look of the original.

      Hassle-Free Install Procedure. Installing this transmission shift boot is a relatively hassle-free procedure that does not require any modifications to your Jeep’s transmission. That said, you might need to remove a number of components, including the cover on the transmission tunnel to gain access to the boot’s location. Also, standard hand tools are all you need to complete installation.
