Simple Install Procedure. Installing this Aeroskin hood protector is a breeze as it comes preinstalled with automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape, making installation a simple peel-and-stick install process. That said, it is advised that you first thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surfaces be before being wiped down with the included alcohol pads. This is to optimize the adhesive tape with your vehicle. Additionally, the mounting surfaces should first be warmed-up prior to installation in cold weather as the adhesive is most effective in temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be accomplished using a hairdryer or heat gun.
Application. This Aeroskin Chrome Hood Protector fits all 2018 to 2024 Jeep Wrangler JL models.
Application Notes. Please do not drive your Jeep for 24 hours, and do not wash for 72 hours after installation. This is to give time for the adhesive to completely set.
