      Hey, guys. Adam here with extremeterrain.com and today we're taking a closer look at and installing the Four Layer Breathable Full Car Cover in Gray available for the '07 and newer JK and JL Two-Door Wranglers. You should be checking this out if you're looking to protect your JL or JK Two-Door from weather elements because this is giving you all-weather protection with a breathable gray fabric. Now this one here is a four-layer polypropylene fabric that not only is breathable so it helps prevent condensation from building up underneath of it but it's also gonna make sure that it's protected from all the weather elements, rain, snow, sleet, hail and heavy winds. Now this guy uses a highly conspicuous gray color here so it actually grabs your attention at night. That way if you have your car cover on, it's not gonna blend in with the darkness. You can easily point it out on the street so it keeps it safe. It also comes with a locking cable and a lock with multiple keys which you can run from eyelet-to-eyelet underneath of the vehicle to actually hold that car cover in place. So, if you are in a location that sees a lot of heavy winds, this is gonna help prevent that cover from blowing off.Now the edges of this cover use an elastic material that wraps it underneath of the front and rear bumper as well as wrapping it underneath of the side profile of the Jeeps. Now as you can see, it's not a full-length cover in terms of it going all the way down to the very bottom of your tire. It cuts off right at about halfway which personally I do not mind but if you're looking for 100% protection, this guy's not gonna be the one for you but it does protect, I would say, 99.9% of your Jeep with the exception of the small bottom of that tire.Now keep in mind guys, we have this right here on our 2018 JL Two-Door Pumpkin. Now this here obviously has full complete coverage. Our JL is completely stock. If you have an aftermarket front bumper for example that has a big overrider hoop on it, that overrider hoop won't be fitting under this car cover so you wanna keep in mind which aftermarket mod you may have installed. If you have taller, say, 37-inch tires, you'll probably have a lot more exposed at the bottom end. Just something to keep in mind.Now this one here of course is one of the more affordable options. It is a custom-fit cover so it is specifically made for the Two-Door JK and JL models which use similar body styles, of course. And the price tag comes in at right around 100 bucks. Install gets one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. You can tackle it in about 15 minutes or so from start to finish. It does get a lot easier with a helping hand. If you have someone that can help you put on the front end while you tackle the rear, you can feed it over the Jeep all in one piece, that's what we're gonna be doing, that goes really, really far and goes a long way.Now this is like putting on a bedsheet for your bed, right? You wanna make sure you're starting on one side. You feed that into position, go on to the opposite corner, feed that in position and work your way around. That's gonna be the easiest way to tackle this. I'm gonna show you how that looks with the helping hand of my friend, Jared. So, what do you say we get started?First step here. All you wanna do is take your car cover out of the box and you wanna lay it flat on the ground like we have here. Now as flat as you can get, obviously. It's like putting on a bedsheet. Now you wanna make sure it's oriented properly. So, the front and rear look very similar but the sides have eyelets on them, little white eyelets so you wanna make sure that they're on the side profile of the cover. Now at this point you can do this by yourself. It does take a little bit more time and can be a little bit more difficult to do. Having a helping hand goes a long way. I got my buddy Jared here today that's gonna help me out here. But one person at the front end, one person at the rear, feed it over the Jeep and then you can inch your way down to the bottom getting it wrapped up nicely. So, at this point, let's grab a friend and get to work.All right. So, once you have enough slack, you wanna come right underneath of that front bumper. Work your way all the way around the front. All right. And it's got that elastic there so it hugs it pretty nicely down there. You just wanna make sure you get good coverage. All right, I'm doing the same thing at the rear. At the back end here, you wanna make sure you're coming behind or underneath of that spare tire as well. You might need to pull a little bit more slack toward the rear. That's gonna wrap up my review and install for the Four Layer Breathable Full Car Cover in Gray available for the '07 and newer JK and JL Two-Door Wranglers.
