Description
Standard Replacement Fuel Tank Sending Unit. Restore your Jeep’s fuel gauge reading to normal again using this Jeep Wrangler fuel tank sending unit. This product includes a float and sends a signal to your fuel gauge to tell you how much fuel is in your 15-gallon tank. This replacement part is designed to work with 1987-1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ vehicles and sits inside the fuel tank just like the original part.
OEM in-Tank Design. This Jeep 15-gallon sending unit is designed to fit into a 15-gallon fuel tank. It works with gasoline and includes a float to measure the fuel level in your vehicle for an accurate estimate. The sending unit fits and performs like the stock part.
Durable Construction. This replacement part is crafted from long-lasting materials that resist corrosion and offer long-term reliability from within your fuel tank.
Moderate Installation Process. This sending unit requires a moderate installation process that is challenging for Jeep owners. The unit takes 1-2 hours for a mechanic to install and requires removing the fuel tank to install it.
Application. This replacement part fits 1987-1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ models. Only models with a 2.5L engine can use this sending unit without any modifications.
