      Description

Performance Design. The Injen Power-Flow Cold Air Intake System features a 3-phase air cycling mechanism to keep air cool and flowing – the air inducer, air stabilizer and velocity stack. The air is then passed through a Mega Ram technology-infused tube that compresses air to just the right pressure and releases air at just the right moment into the engine to create maximum combustion and better performance on and off road. You'll see gains in horsepower and torque, helping you reach your JK's maximum potential.

Durable Construction. The Injen power-flow cold air intake system features a tuning pipe that is crafted from aerospace-grade, lightweight, anti-corrosive T-6 aluminum for extreme durability and strength without weighting you down. It is finished with a fine wrinkle black powder coat to protect it from wear and the elements.

Application. The Injen power-flow cold air intake system is designed for 2007-2011 Jeep Wrangler JK 3.8L models.

4 2017 Wrangler - Kipp Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Injen Power-Flow Cold Air Intake

I would’ve gave it 5 stars but it came with one end egg shaped. It was not Extreme Terrains fault because the box was not damaged. It happed while at the manufacturer. I was able to work it back to round. After that the install was painless. When driving I immediately noticed the change in how the engine reacts with a little more power and it’s constant.

        5 2018 Wrangler - Chris T Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        I like it

Super easy to install. Took me about 30-45 mins . Sounds great. Paired up with an AFE Rebel series cat-back. Alone it sounded nice but now it’s a bold sound. Definitely hear the engine breath when going up hills or just putting the hammer down.

4 2010 Rubicon - JKUROwner Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Good Product

The only gripe I have is that the actual product that was delivered looked totally different that the picture on this website. Otherwise I'm happy with this cold air intake, I noticed a slight increase in power and it has a cool sound.

5 2016 Wrangler - VICTOR Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Sounds Way Better Than Stock

Installing this intake was a breeze. The hardest part was removing the Mass Airflow Sensor from the stock intake. You have to lift it over the tab and then turn it in the direct of the tab. Be careful or it'll break. After that, installing this Injen part is very straightforward. Whole install, from beginning to end took about an hour - and that's because of the sensor removal. Sounds way better even an low RPM, which I really like because this way I don't have to floor the pedal to hear the intake. However, once you really get on it then the intake opens up more. Cannot really speak for the performance gains since I didn't purchase it for this aspect. I have not seen any significant MPG gains/losses.

5 2014 Wrangler - ErickP Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Good Product

So far it's been good. Seems to have given better throttle response. You only hear it when you are getting on it so it's not too loud. Install was quick and easy. Took maybe 30 min. Only thing tricky was the air temp sensor. Just have to be careful with that.

4 2014 Rubicon - DonD Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Cold Air Intake

Easy to install and looks great. It is louder, but I think it sounds real good. I haven't driven it on any longer trips yet, so haven't noticed any mpg gains. Overall I like it and would recommend it.

5 2017 Rubicon - Jordan Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Love it!

The only intake company that I've ever wanted to use. Nothing but quality!!! Easy to install. Sounds great, and performs. Oh yes does it perform. Best combo if you want to run exhaust is the flow master outlaw matched with the injen intake. Match made in heaven. I'd give this product 6 stars if I could.

5 2011 Wrangler - Dips Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

Actually able to use 4th gear now

Install is the easiest thing ever, all you need is a flat head and an allen key. Noticed gains immediately after installing. It's a jeep so I'm not talking about improved 0-60 times lol. Before I had it I was getting very frustrated with my jeep shifting down on slight uphill highways. It was always me fighting the car to try to keep it in a gear it didn't want to be in. After install though I found I could actually use 4th gear way more effectively than before. I was honestly surprised how much less frequently the car shifts now, it can actually stay in 4th and accelerate on uphills now without downshifting. Added Bonus: a subtle but pleasing engine addition to engine sound at higher rpms.

This intake has some great reviews, but I'm wondering if there are any issues (or any concern) about it not having a heat shield. Most other intakes on the market seem to have heat shields, so I'm more interested in any potential issues in not having one. Thanks!

      • There should not be any issues as a result of this not having a heat shield.
