Upgraded Axles to fix a leak

Ensure that you purchase new backing plates so that you can go get the tone ring, backing plate, seal, bearings and backing ring. Axles were well built and came with spline protection wraps. I used the opportunity to fix leaking rear seals to upgrade. I rated the install at a full day only because I had a mess of gear oil and emergency brakes to replace. Actual install took approximately 5 hours.

      Yep they’re axles

As advertised fit my 2012 unlimited sport perfectly. Included bearings, seals, and press fit bearing retainer rings. Does NOT include the axle retaining plate which seems to be a dealer only item in my little hometown of Phx AZ. Save yourself a few hrs and get two new plates, avoid the cutting and grinding to remove the old ones AND end up with useable take off axles. So far, so good!

      Great for the price.

First the only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star is they don’t come with a backing plate which means reusing your old backing plates. This means your stock shafts can’t be used as trail repair shafts for my jeep or a friends jeep. Other than that they should be great on the trail. Best price is here by far. Don’t bother searching anywhere else. Buy here.

      Great Replacements

My seals went back, so I decided to upgrade the axle shafts aswell. They are beefy for the offroad abuse.
