Description
Exceptional Suspension Upgrade. The Excessive Industries Front Long Arm Kit for JK Specific Front Axle; Bare Steel substantially improves wheel travel and handling throughout the suspension cycle. Designed to provide both improved on-road stability and off-road durability, this kit replaces the factory configuration with optimized suspension geometry. This results in smoother freeway driving and enhanced off-road performance on large tires up to 42 inches.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from high strength steel, the kit includes a 3/16 inch steel plate transmission cross member, boxed and TIG-welded lower links made from 1/4 inch steel plate, and adjustable chromoly upper links. Advanced MetalCloak Duroflex joints are employed throughout, along with heavy-duty weld-on brackets for optimal strength and durability. The bare steel finish allows users to apply custom coatings or paint to match their preferences.
Installation. Installation requires welding the chassis side upper bracket and generally involves moderate to advanced mechanical skills. The included doubler plate features alignment holes that match factory holes, simplifying installation without the need for unusual drilling beyond these factory-aligned points.
Application. This front long arm kit is specifically engineered to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. It is designed to seamlessly integrate with JK chassis and axle configurations, including compatibility with the Super Duty swap JK-specific axle housing, ensuring a proper fitment without modification.
