Description

These replacement brake pads contain fewer metallic compounds, which extends the life of braking rotors by up to 50%. The pre-chamfered edges prevent screeching and improve braking performance against worn brake rotors.
Incredible Tolerance. These EBC Brakes Ultimax OEM Plus Organic Brake Pads are manufactured with incredibly precise tolerances to assure correct fit, even wear, and the lack of rattles and squeaks. While the unique low-metallic aramid composition employs DuPont Twaron composite to reduce the quantity of steel wool required, resulting in significantly less abrasive wear on rotors while maintaining brake pad efficiency and lifetime. Furthermore, EBC's aramid composition guarantees that the pads are soft enough to prevent brake squeal but not so soft that pad longevity suffers.
Mates Flawlessly. The pre-chamfered pad edges will mate flawlessly into the grooves and lips that naturally form on the rotor surfaces, allowing the pad's meat to make contact with the rotor center where it counts. These pads also have a red top layer coating that is meant to remove glazing and hot spots from worn brake rotors during the break-in process.
Coat that Grips. As it does so, the coating provides a higher level of grip to compensate for the low friction levels that exist prior to bedding completion. Even in the most adverse weather conditions, built-in shims ensure that any high-frequency vibration is absorbed rather than communicated as screaming noise.
Installation. With the removal of tires and other components, installing these organic brake pads can be tedious for the inexperienced. Therefore, it is best to hire a certified mechanic to handle the installation. This way you can ensure that the pads are properly installed with great fitting. Nevertheless, should you have the knowledge, skills, and tools in installing brake pads, then you’ll be fine within your garage.
Warranty. EBC brake pads and rotors have a 6-month or 10,000-mile highway use warranty against material and workmanship faults. There is no warranty for brake vibration caused by unequal rotor thickness as a result of improper brake rotor installation. This guarantee does not cover brake noise, fitment abuse, normal wear, and tear, or any type of race use.
