It swings outward with the tailgate, allowing full access to the cargo area while protecting the aluminum tailgate from extra weight during off-road use.

Construction and Appearance. Made from 3.5mm and 5mm steel plates, this carrier is finished in a durable micro-texture black powder coat that provides lasting corrosion resistance. It includes a paintable aluminum logo plate for vehicle color matching and aesthetic customization.

Installation. This tire carrier installs with a bolt-on process requiring no cutting, with an estimated installation time of about 2 hours, suitable for those with moderate mechanical skills.

Warranty. A 1-year limited warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials.

Application. Compatible with 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK models only when paired with the DV8 Offroad MTO Rear Bumper. It supports tires up to 38x13.50 inches and wheels up to 20 inches in diameter with a maximum wheel width of 9.5 inches. Note that it does not support the factory third brake light functionality.
