      Description

This NP231 Transfer Case Input Gear is made out of top grade steel to fit the hard and adventurous nature of your 87-95 Wrangler YJ model. With a slanting gear arrangement, this input gear will seamlessly replace your Jeep’s worn out OEM part.

      Slanting Gear Cut. This NP231 Transfer Case Input Gear has a 23 Spline Input Gear ideal for NP231 Jeep transfer cases. The top area has a slanting gear to conform to the NP-231 Transfer Case standards.

      Direct Fitment on OE part. This NP231 Transfer Case Input Gear is fabricated to be a direct replacement of the OE Stock Part Number 53006085. This component is laser cut from top grade steel to provide a smooth and responsive shifting as you put the Jeep on its paces. This input gear meets the OE specifications in its every detail.

      Installation. The installation of this NP231 Transfer Case Input Gear is a complex, multi-step process and should, as such, be handled by an experienced mechanic. Poor installation may cause issues such as grinding that will lead to wear and tear and possible voiding of the warranty.

      1-Year Warranty. As a guarantee of superior workmanship, Manufacturer backs this 23 spline NP231 Transfer Case Input Gear with a one year or 12000 miles limited warranty. Check Manufacturer’s warranty for exceptions.

      Application. This NP231 Transfer Case Input Gear works well with manual and automatic versions of all 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ models.
