      Description

      An Ideal Replacement. A worn or broken U-Joint means your vehicle’s driveshaft doesn’t connect properly to its front axle. To remedy the problem, you need a cost-effective replacement that works just as well as your original part. That’s what you get with Crown Automotive’s Jeep Wrangler Universal Joint. This part is a non-greaseable U-Joint that replaces the 297 series joint already installed in your vehicle. It fits Dana 30 front axles and has a cap diameter of 1-47/250 Inches.

      High Build Quality. Crown followed the specifications for your stock part to the letter when making their U-Joint. It’s made using tough unpainted steel, meaning it’s strong enough to deal with constant use both on and off-road.

      Direct Installation. The joint comes with a set of 4 clips that you can use when installing it. Besides that, this joint uses your vehicle’s factory mounts to provide a snug fit. Professional guidance is suggested if you have not worked with your front axle or driveshaft before.

      Variable Warranties. This part comes with a variable warranty that covers it for either 12,000 miles or 1 year. This warranty entitles you to a repair or replacement if you find faults in workmanship or materials. Some exclusions apply so read the warranty in full before purchasing.

      Application. The Jeep Wrangler Universal Joint installs directly into Jeep Wrangler TJ, YJ, and JK vehicles built between 1991-2012. It’s compatible with the Jeep Wrangler YJ’s ABS brakes.

      Installation Difficulty. Installing this U-Joint takes 1-2 hours and should only be attempted by those with advanced automotive knowledge.
