Hey, guys. Today I'm here with the RT Off-Road Cover All Kit fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJ Wranglers, excluding the Unlimited models. This kit is going to be for the TJ owner looking for a set of interior covers to protect you, and all of your stuff from the elements while you have the top of your Wrangler. This kit will come with a duster or a tonneau cover, a windjammer or windbreaker, and a beach top or a brief top whichever you like to call them, and they're going to come with a couple of different benefits. First off, this setup will be modular, so you can run any one of these pieces by themselves or you can run them in conjunction with each other, like you see here behind me. This will also save you a couple of mpgs because it's making the Jeep a little bit more aerodynamic, and you and your stuff will be safe from the elements, like I mentioned before, like any light weather as well as the sun protection. Not to mention, this will give you some extra off-road styling. So, at the moment this will be the only option where you can buy all 3 pieces together, and it's going to cost you roughly $200. So, RT Off-Road also does have another option that we have on our site for a Spice denim option so, if you're looking for tan, we also have that available. So, other options that you may be seeing on the page will just come with one of these three pieces and can range anywhere from $50 to right around the $80. However, if you're looking for a one-stop shop, RT Off-Road definitely has you covered. So, install is going to be a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. It's gonna be fairly easy, just a series of buckles and straps. But I would like to mention that you will need a tailgate bar and tailgate bar retainers as well as a windshield channel to get everything attached to your Jeep. So, speaking of the install, let's jump into that now. So, the first thing we're going to tackle in this install is the beach topper. So, this is going to be the brief top that goes above your front seats. Our first step is going to be to wrap the sides of our beach topper around our roll bar here. You won't actually need door surrounds since RT Off-Road does have velcro on the sides of the beach topper. So, that's going to be able to hold it in place so we can tuck it into our windshield channel, and wrap it around our rear roll bar here. I would like to mention that you will need a no-drill windshield channel in order to install your beach topper and secure it properly. RT Off-Road does offer one that we have available on the website for roughly $70. So, it will jump the price up a little bit, however, you will need it to install this beach topper. So, in order to put tension on the front to tuck the tab into our windshield channel, we do need to attach our back nylon straps. So for this, the farthest one outward, you can tuck the longest part of the strap in between the roll bar and the sound bar or around the roll bar if you do not have a soundbar. So then you can pull that around the side, pull it through your hook and loop system, and tighten that down. Now, we can move to this one. We can tuck the whole portion through, and you will need to pull this clip through, and then we can pull the longer strap through our hook and loop system and tighten that one down as well. So, like I said, we are going to leave this til last, however, I do want to pull it through while we are at this back point. So, like the other ones, you are just going to tuck it in between the roll bar and the sound bar and pull the whole strap, including the clip through. So, now we're ready to tuck our tabs into the front of our windshield channel. Now, we can just wrap this last velcro piece around the front of our roll bar just to clean it up, and tuck everything in place. And at this time, if you want to go around and adjust your side velcro right around your side roll bars, you can do that to tighten up the top. So, ours looks like it can be tightened up a little bit. I'm just going to tackle that now while we're over here. Well, like I mentioned, we did save this long strap for last for our beach topper. So, what we're to do is pull the strap through our Footman loop and then secure it down. So, this is what's going to put a lot of tension on it to keep the beach topper tight and prevent it from flapping around in the wind while you're driving. You can actually see the topper moving up, that's because it's got that tension on it. So, once that's tightened, you can tuck this up in the Footman loop to get it out of the way. Okay. So, this beach topper is made of a black diamond vinyl material, which is the same material used for your factory soft top. This also comes with heavy-duty nylon buckles and straps to keep it in place and prevent it from flapping in the wind while you're driving. This is going to do a great job at still offering you that open-air driving experience with your soft top off or your hard top, as well as your doors off, but it's going to keep you protected from the sun as well as keep your interior protected from the sun, so it does not fade. So, now let's move onto our windjammer. So, we're going to start attaching our windjammer in the middle. We're going to take our buckle and push it through. Once that's through, we'll take our strap, wrap it around our roll bar. We have to push it through our beach topper. So, once you have that wrapped around the roll bar, we can do the same thing and just secure that down. Now we can take the next buckle out and do the same thing, push it through our roll bar and then take our strap, wrap it around our side roll bar and do the same thing, secure it down. Then we can start to go down the side, making sure to be mindful that we're not messing with the seat belt assembly. So, we can do the same thing on the other side, starting from the top. So, there are two bottom straps on your windbreaker, and attaching them to the floor is optional. RT Off-Road does supply you with two Footman loops that you can use as a template and drill into the body of the Wrangler. So, the windbreaker is made of the same material as the beach top. It's going to be a black diamond vinyl material, which is very similar to your soft top. And this is going to prevent any extra wind from getting inside the cab, which can be very annoying while you're trying to enjoy some open-air driving experience. And paired with the tonneau cover, can actually save you some mpgs. So, speaking of the tonneau cover, let's get that installed next. So, the first step to installing our duster or our tonneau cover is to get inside of the Jeep and attach our button-up adapter strap to our windjammer and then we can attach it to our tonneau cover. So, first, we can snap the buttons on the windbreaker. So, after those are attached to our windbreaker, we can attach them to our tonneau cover. So, now we can wrap our velcro around our roll bar, making sure that the seatbelt is also in. And this doesn't have to be perfect right now. We can adjust this at the end, but we just want to make sure it's in place so we can tuck in our tabs to our belt rail retainer. Now we can tuck our tabs into our belt rail retainer. This is just gonna be like your soft top windows. After that corner's in, we can start to move down the tonneau cover, and move over to the other side. Then we can we readjust our velcro once that's on. Now you can take your factory tailgate bar and slide it into this seam here. You just had to line up the C-channel and it will slide on just the same as it would on the back of your rear window. Then you can tuck it up and under into the retainer, and if this has popped out, you can just re-secure that down. So, our last step for our duster is to secure these buckles around the roll bar. This just going to tighten everything up. So, like I mentioned, I was telling you guys about the windbreaker, the duster or the tonneau cover, whatever you like to call it will save you a couple of mpgs because it's making the Jeep a little bit more aerodynamic. This is also going to protect all of your cargo in the back from any sun damage as well as any light weathering, and it's going to keep everything in the back while you're out bouncing out on the trails, making sure nothing is flying out. So, that's going to wrap it up for my review and install on the RT Off-Road Cover All Kit fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJ Wranglers. For more videos like this, keep it right here at extremeterrain.com.
