        5 1999 Wrangler - Shifty

        Buy both from same manufacturer

Works great and easy install. I bought a Bestop channel and Bestop bimini top to be sure fitment was correct.

        4 2005 Wrangler - Clancy

        Quick to install

This was a quick install but I did review some Jeep forums that have a few pointers about pushing the header forward when you tighten the screws. Putting the top itself in the header was a huge pain though so not sure if the header you drill in would make that part of the process easier.

        5 1998 Wrangler - Daymon

        Easy install

Installed this in about 5 minutes (including grabbing tools and a beer). It came with an extra bolt and 2 extra washers, fits great, and solid feel. Only downside is the plastic end caps were a little more narrow when I was installing the new full length bikini top as well. Still a five star as I am chalking it up to the top being new and needing to reform the front corners by letting it sit in the sun for a bit. All in all, a good purchase.

        5 2006 Wrangler Unlimited - Rosalie

        Nice header bar

Easy to install. No issues with it. I like that it’s no drill and so easy to put on and take off if you are switching between a hard top and a soft top.

        3 2006 Wrangler - TJGroceryGetter

        Quality Top with Quirks

This top is constructed of quality materials and I am generally satisfied with the straps and ability to secure the top. The front of the bimini is secured by a jam connection similar to those around the door surrounds for many OEM soft tops -- this is frankly inconvenient and seemingly unnecessary given that alternative methods for attachment exist by affixing the top directly to a channel bar, etc. I am most dissatisfied by the fact the front jam-wedge ships as a perfectly flat piece of plastic, whereas the complimentary channel curves to create a flush look. This difference makes the front corners nearly impossible to keep within the channel -- I've had the top installed continuously for two weeks and have yet to convince them to stay in the retainer regardless of adjustments. The top is generally good quality and can be secured enough so wind flapping is minimized and quality for weather is good. The straps would be improved by being slightly longer for those who have padding installed around the vehicle's roll bars. The top takes a long time to install (particularly due to the front jam-connection), and this really detracts from the appeal of using this as a summer top, personally. If you're looking for something that can be whipped up and down depending on if a passing cloud is passing by on a summer day, this top may not be for you.

        5 2006 Wrangler Unlimited - ChrisA

        Jeep named Lucille

No additional modifications were necessary. The windshield channel bolted on without a hitch and the top was easy to slide into place. The straps are well placed and fabric stretches tight. No flapping or noise. Good value for a summer time top.
