The C4 Fabrication Rock Runner High Clearance Rear Bumper with Single Tube Sides; Black is designed to enhance off-road capability by maximizing rear departure angles and ground clearance. It offers rugged protection and practical features for overlanders and off-road enthusiasts who require improved obstacle clearance. This bumper is ideal for tackling challenging terrain while providing recovery options and trailer hitch access.
Construction and Appearance. The bumper features a modular, 3-piece design with fully welded ¾†thick D-ring clevis mounts constructed from heavy-duty steel. It comes with bolt-on single tube sides finished in a black powder coat for corrosion resistance and a sleek, durable appearance. The flip-up license plate and hidden hitch demonstrate thoughtful design for usability and style.
Installation. Installation requires cutting the rear side body panels and is moderately complex, making professional installation recommended. Drilling and modifications to the vehicle’s OEM setup are necessary to achieve the optimal fit and function.
Application. Fits 16-23 Tacoma without blind spot monitoring (BSM) systems. This bumper is not compatible with models equipped with parking sensors or blind spot monitoring, and the spare tire will not fit in its original location due to bumper design for increased clearance.
