This front big brake kit is engineered to deliver maximum stopping power in a wide range of applications. Additionally, this kit’s included calipers feature a striking red powder-coat finish to give your ride a high-performance look.
Cast Aluminum 6-Piston Calipers. This front big brake kit includes a pair of 6-piston calipers using a radial-mount design to minimize flex. This, in turn, gives your truck a more substantial pedal feel with improved feedback. Additionally, these calipers are precision cast and finished from high-grade aluminum alloy before getting finished in an eye-catching red powder coating. These factors combine to offer superior yet lightweight durability and an impressive high-performance style.
Slotted and Vented 2-Piece Rotors. This big brake kit comes with a pair of slotted 2-piece rotors with internal vents. In particular, the slotted design and internal vents work to maintain maximum rotor-to-pad contact and outstanding cooling respectively. Likewise, the 2-piece design helps prevent warping, allowing them to be driven hard. What’s more, these rotors are precision-cast and machined from heavy-duty iron for superior strength.
Superior Performance FM1000 Brake Pads. A proper big brake kit requires brake pads designed to work optimally with the rotors. In this regard, this Brembo GT series front big brake completely delivers thanks to a set of FM1000 brake pads. These pads are equipped with a specialized friction material capable of exceptional pad bite for outstanding stopping power. Furthermore, these pads produce minimal brake dust, making sure your wheels look great for longer.
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This front big brake kit installs into your Jeep’s factory front brake location without the need for modifications. You might however need to bleed your brakes when installing this kit so be sure to have a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid. Also, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
Complete Front Big Brake Kit. This Brembo GT Series front big brake kit comes with two 6-piston calipers, two slotted and vented 2-piece rotors and the four FM1000 brake pads. What’s more, this kit comes with a pair of braided stainless steel brake lines and all the required installation hardware.
Application. The Brembo GT Series 6-Piston Front Big Brake Kit with 15-Inch 2-Piece Type 3 Slotted Rotors; Red Calipers fits all 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler JL models.
Application Notes. This Brembo GT Series 6-piston front big brake kit is meant for vehicles with stock ride height. Installing this kit on lifted vehicles is not recommended as this could damage the included brake lines.
