Description
High-Performance Shock Absorber. The BDS NX2 Front Shock Absorber for 6.5-Inch Lift delivers enhanced suspension control and improved ride quality for the Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ models from 1997 to 2006. Designed to effectively absorb impacts and maintain vehicle stability, it is ideal for both on-road comfort and off-road terrain adaptability. This shock provides consistent damping performance for varied driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a twin-tube design energized by a pressurized nitrogen charge, this shock features a 2-inch body and a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston with self-lubricating seals. The shaft is a hardened 14mm chrome material, engineered to resist corrosion and physical damage, including rock chips. The unit is finished with durable metallic silver paint and prominently displays NX2 branding for visual distinction.
Installation. Installation of this front shock is straightforward with included polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves for direct replacement of factory units. No drilling or extensive modifications are required, making it accessible for enthusiasts with basic mechanical skills.
