Merideth: So, window visors are great for keeping rain, bugs, and trail dust out of your Jeep, while still allowing all of the fresh air in. And these Barricade Tough Guard FormFit Window Visors are a great choice for the '07 to '18 JK owner looking for a set that will stand out and add some extra styling in the meantime. Now, this set will come with all four in the kit and will feature a stylish bolt-on look or a riveted look, which will add a custom and more aggressive feel to your Jeep. Now the visors themselves will be made of an automotive grade ABS material with a textured finish on top for more of an aggressive look compared to some other choices. Now speaking of the look, this will have the boxy appearance, while incorporating polished hardware for that bolt-on look. Now you can also ensure that these won't go anywhere considering that these will attach to the top of the door with heavy-duty automotive grade 3M tape.Now, this set will cost you roughly $150 and will be one of the more premium choices in comparison to some other options on the page, as definitely stands out with the boxy design, and the bolt-on appearance as to where other choices will again consist of some plain visors with a matte black or even a smoke finish to the plastic themselves. Now they may also be made of an acrylic material, which will differ from this material as well. So, if you're willing to invest in a set of visors that are gonna get you a custom look, while also being very functional, then this will be a solid choice. Now install is gonna be a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you roughly 30 minutes to get the job done. You will have to install all of the hardware onto the visors themselves before attaching them to the Jeep. But at this point, we can head over to the shop and check out a detailed breakdown of what that install looks like. That's gonna wrap it up for me. Let's go ahead and jump into it.Man: The tools you'll need for this install are a bit driver, and I put the included T20 Torx bit that comes with the kit in that. The included primer pen, and the included automotive surface cleaner wipes. Let's go ahead and install some window visors on this Jeep Wrangler. So, we're taking a look at one of the visors here. As you can see, this visor is one of the front visors, and it has eight holes across it, and the rear visors are gonna have five holes in them. And they're the same on both sides. So, there's quite a lot of hardware that we're gonna have to put into these visors before we can put 'em on the car. So, let's go ahead and put them in. So, with these holes, we're gonna use the hardware that's included in the kit. There's O-rings, these backing nuts, and the Torx screws that go in. So, what we're going to do is put a backing nut through the hole like that. We are gonna put an O-ring onto the screw itself just like this. We're gonna get it started by hand. These are pretty small, just be careful not to cross-thread them.And then once you have that started, in the kit there is included a T20 Torx bit, and what I did is I just put it in the end of a screwdriver, and that's what we're gonna use to tighten these down. I have my screwdriver with the Torx bit in it, and I'm just going to snug them up. Just compress that O-ring a little bit. We'll go do the next one the same way. Pass this through the back. Put our O-ring on our screw, screw in, and then using your screwdriver, it'll snug that up.And then you can go ahead and repeat this process for all 26 of the holes over all visors. Now that we've got all the hardware into our window visors, what we can go ahead and do is check out some of the other stuff that was included in the kit. So, we have some included surface cleaner. This came with the kit. This is just gonna be a wipe that you can use on the doors before you stick 'em down to get rid of the grease and grime, and any kind of finger oils or anything like that. And then we have an included primer. So, how this works, I can actually pull this apart to show you. There is a secondary glass container inside of this. What we're gonna do is squeeze it to puncture that secondary container inside, and let the two chemicals inside mix together, and that will activate the primer.And then this is a sponge head. You can go ahead and scrub that on the surface of the paint where you're gonna stick these two, and then let it dry. And then lastly, on the back of the visor, we have the adhesive tape. There's this red backing to 'em. We're gonna go ahead and peel that off, and we're good to stick these on once you have the primer dry and the surface cleaned. For the sake of this install video, we're not going to be using the primer, we're just gonna stick these on, and show you how they go. Now that we have the surface cleaned and primed, we can go ahead and remove the sticker tape and put this bad boy on. Pull that off like that. We can go ahead and do that for the rest of the tape, and we can stick it to the car. So, we're gonna go ahead and very carefully, fish it over our mirror and line it up the door frame, just like that.When you're happy with the position, stick one corner down, adjust the top, and voila. And now you can go ahead and do that same thing to all the other windows. And then moving on to the back, we can do the same thing. Just gonna be careful about how we line it up. One end down, and then the other side. Make sure it's stuck down.Now, that you have one side done, you can go and repeat the same steps on the other side.
