Merideth: If you're over the plain-Jane factory turn signals on your 2018 and newer Sport or Sport S JL and you're looking for a set that's gonna offer some clean and crisp lighting as well as a more modernized look, these Axial Sequential LED Parking and Turn Signal Lights in Chrome will be the ones to check out. Not only will these be great if you're looking for a more up-to-date look, but also match with any other LEDs that you currently have, offering a very finished appearance. What I like about this set is that it kind of mirrors the factory build in a way with the chrome housing and the clear lens. However, this will take it to a whole new level. Now, inside the housing here, getting into the build, this will be split into two rows of individual LED lights. Now, the top row will consist of bright white LEDs for your daytime running light, and the bottom is gonna be amber LEDs for your turn signal that will blink in a sequential pattern, making you not only more noticeable on the road for safety, of course, but also turning some heads at the same time. These will also be pretty strong, which is needed for the placement of the light if you're going off-road, with a polycarbonate lens and an ABS plastic housing, being able to handle their own to any light impacts. Now, you could also keep some peace of mind knowing that these will be DOT and SAE approved, and will have a completely plug-and-play design, making install pretty hassle-free. As you can see, this will have an OEM-style harness and is even gonna come with OEM-style clips to keep the wiring up and out of the way inside that wheel well area. And these are also gonna be pretty affordable when it comes to parking lights or turn signals on the page, coming in at roughly $200. Now, again, I really like this styling here. It's very simplistic and similar to the factory styling if you like a chrome appearance, but, of course, it's just going to elevate the lighting performance and the functionality. Now install, again, is going to be very straightforward at a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you about an hour to get the job done with some basic hand tools. Now on that note, one of our guys in the shop is gonna walk you through a detailed install step-by-step. So, that wraps it up for me. Let's get into the install.Man: The tools required for this install include a ratchet, extension, a Phillips head screwdriver, a clip remover tool, 8-millimeter socket, 10-millimeter socket, 3/8 to 1/4-inch adapter, T25 Torx bit, and a T30 Torx bit. What's up, guys? Today, we're gonna be installing a set of DRLs on our Wrangler JL, so let's get started. So, we went ahead and turned the wheel out, just to kind of give us some more access to our bolts in here. So, our first step is gonna be to come in with an 8-millimeter socket and a 10-millimeter socket. We have two 8-mil bolts and one 10-mil that we have to remove. So, first, we can remove these two 8-millimeters. And then, we have a 10-millimeter right up under here. And then, we can pull back on this black piece. So, now we can get in with our T30 Torx bit and remove this Torx screw. Now, this Phillips head right here is usually the same T30 Torx. Ours is different, so we're gonna use a Phillips head to remove it.So, now down and along the bottom here, we have two T25 Torx screws. So, I'll throw an extension on there, make it a little easier, and get those out. Now we can take out another one of our T25 screws up top, and then we have one more T30. Right. And then we can remove our 10-millimeter up here, and then that'll free up our bracket. And then, we can get in here with a clip remover tool and pop out our clip. Now, with our bracket out of the way, it'll give us access to our last two T25 screws. Now we can disconnect our wiring harness and use a clip remover tool to remove our clips. And now, with our wiring harness removed, we can remove our daytime running light. So, the last step in our uninstall is to disconnect our side marker from our harness. You can do that with a little flathead screwdriver, or you can just use your fingernail, lift that tab up, and disconnect it like that. So, now we can go ahead and reconnect our side marker harness, and then, we can slide our side marker through first, and then slide our DRL into place. So, now we can go ahead and reinstall our four T25 screws that hold in our daytime running light. And then, we can reinstall our T30 that holds our side marker to our daytime running light. So, now we can reinstall our bracket, and we can reinstall our three T30 screws to hold our bracket in place. So, now we can fold up our plastic piece, get that over this red. And now, once we have that in place, we can reinstall our two 8-millimeter screws, and then we have our two 10-millimeters.So, now we can route our wiring harness back towards the firewall of our car. So, we can go up over these mounting provisions for our fender flares. Now we can connect our wiring harness, and then we can push our clips into place. So, now we can mount our two boxes. We'll pull back on our double-sided tape. And you can mount these guys wherever you'd like, tuck them back here, stick them down. So, that'll wrap up this review and install of the Axial Sequential LED Parking Lights and Turn Signals that are clear for your 2018 to 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL Sport. Thank you for watching, and remember, for all things Wrangler, keep it right here at extremeterrain.com.
